I absolutely love being a therapist and a coach. I have a knack for understanding what it takes to resolve human suffering and it’s a great joy to bring this wisdom into my sessions with people.

I strive to find simple and effective strategies to help my clients to heal their deepest wounds. I equip my clients with tools to manage their unwanted thoughts and emotions, improve their relationships, and become the highest version of themselves.

Someone asked me once what makes my approach to trauma recovery unique. I said it’s the simplicity I bring to a complex journey and the fact that we have fun along the way.

The fight response is meant to protect us, but when we were prevented from fighting for ourselves when we were threatened as children, our ability to defend ourselves became disabled. Signs of a thwarted fight response:
You struggle with anger—either suppressing it completely or having sudden, explosive outbursts.

▸ You feel powerless but wish you could stand up for yourself.
▸ You are harsh with yourself and struggle with self-compassion.
▸ You experience chronic muscle tension, especially in your jaw, neck, or shoulders.
▸ You feel frustrated but don’t know why or how to release it.
▸ You become passive aggressive and bitter.
▸ You engage in high-risk activities
▸ You become judgmental and complain a lot
▸ Becoming suicidal or engage in self-injury
▸ Becoming a people pleaser
▸ Acting defensive

The flight response is about escaping danger. If you couldn’t escape danger as a child, there’s a
part of you that still wants to flee. Here are signs that you have a thwarted fight response:

👉Feeling like you always need to be busy
👉Ghosting people
👉Avoiding intimacy in relationships
👉Inability to stand up for yourself or others
👉Feelings of helplessness
👉A sense of urgency
👉Feeling trapped and unable to make changes.
