Being peaceful and feeling free happens when we start working with life as it is.

When your in that yoga shape and pausing, let those moments lead the way to loving what is. Let those moments lead the way to being at peace with yourself. Allow these practices into life.

After practicing we return to the world having tasted accepting and loving ourselves. With gratitude we are going inward, so we can then go outward to create and serve. Surrendering to how we feel strengthens us.

Our practice begins by turning up as we are. With awareness of a longer slower out breath something shifts. The mind quietens, that breath finds a rhythm, our hearts begin to remember peace. We embrace, we engage, we listen, and with gratitude we remember. The stillness we discover becomes powerful.

When we stop insisting that life be other than it is, we begin to find peace. We move our bodies into yoga poses then use our breathing to let it be as it is and find some peace there.

Acceptance does not mean approval, being passive or giving up. It means being okay where you find yourself in your yoga pose with open eyes and an open heart.

I begin to see things as they really are.

The life that we often want is on the other side of the stuff we are avoiding.

Most of our stress comes from the way we respond. Adjust how we respond and the stress drops away. Practice stopping in class, and with a longer slower out breath respond differently.

Practice stopping so it becomes the way we begin to respond. Use this practice more and more to begin loving and accepting ourselves as we are.
