💩 Common Foods That Help With Constipation

If constipation keeps popping up, fiber is often a big piece of the puzzle — and it comes in more than one form.

🍐 Pears (fresh or canned)
🍑 Plums & prunes
🥤 Prune juice
🍑 Peaches (fresh or canned)
🍓 Berries
🍎 Apples with the skin on
🥣 Oatmeal
🥜 Nuts & seeds
🌱 Chia seeds & ground flaxseed
🥦 Broccoli — and really, vegetables in general
🌮 Beans & lentils
💧 Water (fiber needs fluids to work)

🧠 Why fiber matters
• Soluble fiber (🥣 oats, 🌮 beans & lentils, 🌱 chia, flax) absorbs water and helps soften stool
• Insoluble fiber (🍎 fruit skins, 🍓 berries, 🥦 veggies, whole grains) adds bulk and helps stool move
• Many foods contain both — which is often the sweet spot

✨ You don’t need all of these. Adding a few foods your child will actually eat — consistently — can make a real difference.

👉 Which one of these will your kids actually eat?
That’s the one to start with.

Raw milk is milk that hasn’t undergone pasteurization. It might carry dangerous bacteria like Campylobacter, Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria, which can cause severe illness, particularly in young children and pregnant individuals. Consuming raw milk is unsafe. Pasteurization involves heating milk to a specific temperature to eliminate harmful bacteria without altering its nutritional value. Ensure your milk is safe for everyone by choosing pasteurized options.
