Are you feeling stuck between a hard place?

I know life can be challenging, trust me!

You see the thing with sobriety is there is no escape. No having a drink to unwind, relax after a hard day, no escaping some challenging emotions and putting them on the back burner.

Nope… we have to feel & explore every single thought, emotion, reality that comes our way immediately! There is no mental escape.

The great news is, our eyes are open, our thoughts become pure, we see things clearly and have learned how to cope and manage these emotions as they come our way.

We are fighters, warriors, we chose the tougher road, we are winning the battles in our mind, stepping into our purpose and rising up more & more each day!

Wouldn’t change it for the world, it’s a beautiful view when you chose to look up!

Family day on the river. Was a bit chaotic at first but we managed. Nice to get outdoors with my husband, son and friends, breathing fresh air and enjoying nature ❤️

What are you doing with your life?

I ask myself this often, to keep myself in check, to question my actions and set my priorities straight.

I am not okay with mediocrity, I need something to strive for and look forward to. To be the best person I can be for not only myself but the people in my life that count on me.

Being bold & courageous has helped me overcome a 20 year battle of addiction. It has created an income that allowed me to purchase my own home with this gorgeous yard to relax in. It has allowed me to show my children that when you want something, work hard for it, the rewards will follow.

As I reflect on my life in this current state, I know there is more work to be done. Life’s to change, goals to reach, being completely financially stable and having my health on point.

Today was our first session, “Finally Free” recovery group I created. I am so excited to see the lives that will begin to heal and blossom. Walking in your purpose is so important to becoming the person you were created to be! Turning our mess into our message and speaking TRUTH!!!
