~The following is not medical advice, just my personal story~

I’ve gone back and forth quite a bit about whether or not to share my story publicly. I saw a post on the importance of sharing our stories to help with early detection for others, so it felt like a simple choice after that.

I mean look at that control! 💯

I’ve decided to liven up this page by sharing some tips/tricks/interesting cases & patient wins here!

Huuuge progress in full body mobility here^^ I had to take some videos.

I wanted to share this dynamic warm-up + mobility routine that I’ve been enjoying recently.
I find it especially helpful for anyone who tends to feel a bit stiff or restricted.

Video 1: Full-body mobility flow targeting hip flexors, hip external rotation, thoracic spine, calves, big toes, and hamstrings.

Video 2: Calf + hamstring mobility paired with deep core activation.

✨ Why I use dynamic warm-ups like this in rehab:
They don’t just stretch tissues -they help restore joint mechanics and muscle balance by facilitating opposing muscle groups. This allows us to access a larger, pain-free range of motion —->which equals more gains with our targeted strength training.

Want to make it extra challenging?
Slow it down.
The slower you move, the more your core has to engage, especially during transitions.

Movement quality > speed

I’ve been getting a lot of great questions about dry needling, so I wanted to share a little more about it!

Dry needling can be a really helpful tool within physical therapy, especially when the goal is to reduce pain and help people move more comfortably sooner. Like other passive treatments, it’s not a standalone fix -but it can create an opportunity for better movement and more effective exercise.

Dry needling can be done with or without electrical stimulation and can be applied in a variety of ways depending on the individual. I most often use it to:
• Decrease pain
• Improve tissue mobility
• Help “wake up” or re-engage underactive muscles

I’ve included a few case examples at the end of this slide carousel to show how it’s been used in real-life situations.

As always, feel free to reach out if you have questions or are wondering whether dry needling might be helpful for you ✨

Mel knows the way to my heart -and yes, it IS a burnt-orange, cozy crewneck sweatshirt!

I was going to post this picture as a story, but it felt like the right moment to give some praise to a genuine light in this community.

Mel is easy to brag about because she truly is the best. She embodies the idea that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. Watching firsthand the care, intention, and commitment to excellence she brings to her gym has been incredibly inspiring.

Her positive energy is contagious, and she goes the extra mile by truly understanding the why behind her craft -not just doing something to do it-but doing it because it makes a difference.

I’m a firm believer in surrounding yourself with people who push their own limits, and it’s been such a joy to be in the same space as you💕
Thank you for being such an incredible role model for me-and so many others🥳 ?

Hello good people of Facebook!

I’ve been dreaming this one up for a while, and I’m really excited to finally share: my first postnatal strength course is here🤗

This 6-week, small group class will meet Sundays for one hour, blending pelvic floor education with progressive strength training. Each class builds on the last, helping you reconnect with your body and rebuild strength in a safe, supportive environment.

Feel free to reach out with any questions — and please share with any moms you think might be interested!

Thank you, thank you! 🙏🏻☺️
