My little Creature probably couldn't let me do magic alone even if he tried 🪞

My best friend and I helped her brother rescue him off the side of the road just 2 months before I left the state. Creature wasn't a huge fan of people and being handled; but I made effort to change that every time I saw him until I left. No matter what home my bestie tried to place him in, it was never a fit until she realized he belonged with me.

A few months later, my bestie was on a plane with Creature in tow, bringing him home to me. An orange furball of chaos and sound, he has always stepped into all the workings I've done since he's been with me. Not a single reading or spell goes by without his watchful eye making sure everything is right.
Plus, he's a little heart-opener; always laying on my chest and purring his little healing waves out.

There truly is a difference between a pet and a familiar. A pet can and will love you endlessly, they'll grow with you, they'll make your house a home.
A familiar creates with you, protects, calls in guides, and is an incarnate guardian. They will be with you til their last breath, because the magic you hold together is their reason for breathing.

Before I was a luminary, I was a daughter

Through growing up in my mother's trauma, I found myself searching for more than what had been offered to me. A community opened up before my very eyes of mystics that saw the potential and fire in me. I learned about all the possibilities of the universe, deities that actually spoke to me, and the power each of us holds inside our bodies.

Discovering this shifted me from being a daughter to being a disappointment; but also to being free. Now as a Angelic Luminary, I get to help others create the lives they know they need- even if that means letting go of what you know.
