Throughout my career in the fitness industry one thing that has stood out so very clear is that we must connect our mind and body to have quality of life.
I have this deep desire to share what I have learned & witnessed in this area. I have been a truth seeker, constantly learning. Why do we do certain things over & over that we know are keeping us stuck on the same hamster wheel as if we have no power over it? It comes down to our ability to step into awareness of self & realize we do not have to act on our programming. This consists of inner work, breaking cycles, meditation, becoming educated, and acting on what feels true for us.
For me meditation, being present, & breath work were game changers. I also journaled so I was aware of how I was stepping into the past programming & then breaking the cycles.
So from finding out I had diabetes over 15 years ago, I dove into nutrition. Through divorce I dove into becoming a holistic health coach & taking responsibility for my choices. Stress & hormone changes led to diving into hormone specialty programs. The past three years I dove into self love and healing.
It has been through the struggle that I felt this was part of my life purpose to walk the walk and help myself and my amazing clients transform our old stories into the bestseller ones. 😉 We all know the pain, the hopelessness, the inner critic, self doubt, & fear of the unknowns. I also know we are meant to have a mind & body that are strong, healthy, & experiencing more joy.
I give gratitude to my clients for the beautiful way they have taken action and transformed one step at a time by doing the work for a better life.
I don’t feel it’s about fitting into a certain size. When we get there are we then happy? It’s about enjoying the journey of self love, self discovery, and self acceptance. When we do that our mind & body will help us be our healthiest self.
We will begin to actually desire getting up and moving around, working out, eating high energy nutrient dense foods. This is how I coach- 🙏🏻 as much as we work our bodies to grow muscles we need to do the same with our minds. ❤️
