Our Story
Turning Winds is an accredited residential treatment center in Montana that services struggling teenagers between the ages of 13-18 in an outdoor experiential therapeutic model. Our program is structured around five essential pillars that include character and life skill development; health, wellness, and fitness; outdoor education; therapeutic success,; and academic achievement which allows for a unique blend of clinically driven and personalized relational treatment for each of our teens.
Turning Winds was founded over fifteen years ago with the mission to rescue struggling teens that were battling addictions. Since it's inception, Turning Winds has helped hundreds of teens regain their lives and strengthen their relationships with their families. It is our philosophy that for struggling teens to successfully recover from the challenges in their lives they must be able to disconnect from traditional distractions and be re-engaged in a unique treatment environment that meets them where they're at and guides them towards a brighter future.
