Although today is Father’s Day it is also Juneteenth! Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Juneteenth started in Texas, but if you look at other States you will see that different states freed their slaves on different dates (I.e. Florida May 20). So let’s take today to celebrate the freedom of Enslaved African Americans.

🍎🍏My teachers always tell me I don't know how you do it, and I can honestly say the same for them. It takes a lot to pour into kids daily, and not just in an academic way! If no one else tells you I will... I appreciate all that you do!!🍎🍏
