The stick bug reminds us that everything is not as it seems. We can learn to look at things from different perspectives which helps us see through illusions and false beliefs allowing the recognition of deeper truths. Things that seem one way may be entirely different in reality, much like that saying don’t judge a book by its cover our initial interpretation on a given situation might not be correct. Stick bug shows us to examine our beliefs and discard any that blind you from truth. This process takes time but stick bug encourages you to start today, open yourself to new possibilities and outcomes. Allow yourself to walk your truth.

When the butterfly spirit shows up in your life it reflects a deep powerful transformation has been happening from within you. When snake energy comes into your life it invites you to shed your skin leaving behind old patterns, beliefs and behaviors that are no longer serving you, assisting you in letting go and grounding yourself in the life force of the earth just as it does. For best health we must be mindful of where we draw our energy from, the most sustainable and powerful of energies is Source energy from the Earth and nature. Snake spirit assists you in drawing from this source to energize yourself and those around you. Cultivating that energy, support, and healing. The serpent is here to guide you during periods of transition and personal growth where big shifts, changes, and the unknown can potentially throw us off balance. It reminds us to keep grounded and pull from this infinite source for support in moving forward. Snakes are powerful symbols of healing and opportunities which is why even today we commonly see this reference in the medical field (think of the two snakes climbing up a rod) symbol known as the Caduceus.

The rattlesnake spirit in particular alerts us to be mindful of our energy and the energy of others. By drawing from source rather than each other we set respectful boundaries and are more gentle and courteous but if we misuse our energy it can lead to devastating reprocutions. We must stay mindful and when problems arise pause and give warning or leave before things escalate further. Do not let yourself get to that point or push others to the point of striking.
