Hi All,

Too much to do this week and did not get to my weekly tarot reading. Since these weekly readings are so time consuming, I have decided in the future to do them just once a month. To make up for this change, I am offering a special deal to all you who have been so faithful in reading my posts. I am offering my personal readings at a special price.
My six month, 10-card readings are normally priced at $75.00, however for the next two weeks I am offering them for $50.00. On top of that if you refer a friend to me, and they have a reading you will get an additional $10 off your reading. Or if you would prefer, you can have a 3-card reading on a specific issue or short time frame, i.e. a week or month, for $20.00.
For the last eight or nine weeks you have experienced my readings and I hope you have found them helpful. These have been general readings, however they are indicative of my style. Wow, can't believe it is March already, but here we are. Trust you are recognizing yourself and your circumstances in these readings and that they are helpful to your growth and well being each week. If you will remember we left off last week with the Queen of Disks, taking time to care for ourselves and resting in the abundance of a lush oasis. This week we start off with the Ace of Cups as our opportunity. Cups symbolizes our emotions and as you can see the cup is overflowing. The opportunity we have is to be embraced by the Love of the Universe, to fully get who we are and to be in love with ourselves. We can then generously pass this love on to others. So, from knowing the desert is behind us, and taking time to care for and to know who we truly are, we now have an opportunity to really love and appreciate ourselves.
Our energy this week is the Major Arcana card (teaching card) Lust XI. If you saw my New Year's reading you might remember this card was the outcome card for 2015. If not, I will give you some background again. In traditional decks this was called Strength. I use the Crowley-Thoth deck and Crowley felt this card needed a stronger name and he decided to call it Lust. It is our lust for life, our strength to live life to the fullest. Armed with the opportunity of overflowing love, we now have the strength to express our creativity and passions. We have the energy to express our radiance to all the world. We can now put out what we are passionate about.
And then the outcome; and as so often happens when we step out with our authentic selves onto this stage, we call life on planet Earth, our fears again rear their ugly heads. The outcome card is the Five of Swords - Defeat. Swords symbolizes the mental aspect of our lives, either our rational thinking (intellect) or those tapes in our mind, often placed there by others (school teachers, parents, church, etc.). This card signifies we are now ready to see our fears, especially our fear that things may not work out. This fear is usually caused because something has not worked out in the past. However, we cannot move forward until we recognize and let go of this fear, for it will surely come up and create unfortunate situations. So it is actually helpful that the fear is coming up now so we can feel the pain and heal the wound(s) of the past.

Continuing on from last week, where we left off dealing with our fear of failure and/or success, our opportunity this week is the Ten of Wands - Oppression. This is oppression of our true selves, most likely coming up because of our fear from the outcome of last week, the Seven of Disks - Failure. Our natural reaction to fear is to withdraw rather than feel it and continue on. This is repression of our energy and our feelings. You can overcome this oppression as it is self-made, it is not from an outside source, it is internal. This week release your self-made restrictions and dare to be bold; dare to express your creativity, your true feelings and to be your authentic self!
Thankfully the second card I drew, our energy for the week is the Nine of Wands - Strength, telling us that we have the spiritual power to continue on, to dare to be Ourselves. This strength comes from connecting our consciousness with the unconscious, seen on this card by the major wand on the card connecting the sun (above) and the moon (below). When we are in touch with our true selves (our unconscious), we have the strength to face whatever is in our paths and overcome it. So know that whatever you are dreaming of, please keep taking the steps to fulfill this dream.
The final card, the outcome for the week is the Queen of Disks. Notice she is looking back at the barren desert behind her and is now sitting on the top of a pineapple. Where I come from in New England, the pineapple is a symbol of prosperity and abundance. She is sitting on this lushness, after having come through the desert. Of course our desert has been the fears and the oppression of ourselves that we have been dealing with over the last several weeks. (Check out the readings since the beginning of the year.) Now we can rest and relax in the abundance of our lush oasis. We can take time to care for ourselves.

Hi All,
If you have been receiving my weekly readings and you have found them helpful or not, please take a moment to email me and tell me how they have affected your life. Now to this week's reading. Last week the outcome was The Emperor IV card, the energy of beginning new pursuits in the physical realm with success. Hopefully, you used this energy to at least begin to think of a new career, health program, investment opportunity or business you would like to start. This week our energy starts with The Empress III, time to take emotional care of ourselves and those we care about. The opportunity this week is to take time to look at where we are putting out too much energy in the physical realm and where we can emotionally nurture ourselves and our relationships. Where we can integrate this emotional caring and feminine energy into our new endeavor, allowing us and our venture to have more equilibrium and symmetry.
The energy of this coming week is The Tower XVI card, another Major Arcana or teaching card. The energy of this card is just as it appears, lightening is striking and things come crashing down. To me, The Tower and The Death cards are very similar. Where the Death card is symbolic of an outer force coming at us, so that we let go (death) and transform (rebirth) our current state; the force that transforms us with the Tower card comes from within. We have an internal epiphany that creates a situation in which some preconceived belief no longer serves us and we must heal the old and restore our being to wholeness. Just as it might be uncomfortable to remove a rotten tooth, we feel so much better after it is removed. So it is with the Tower card, a shake up and then renewal.
If we are supposed to feel so much better, what's with the outcome card being the Seven of Disks-Failure? This sure looks like a dark and negative card. However, like all the "negative" cards in this deck, this card is about dealing with our fear; specifically our fear of failure or success. Things are moving toward our wholeness and of course what comes up for us? The answer is, all our fears about not being good enough, can I do this?, what will success mean for me, etc. This is a perfect week to look at what areas of your life worry you the most and to deal with these fears. Where have you stopped yourself because you were afraid of failing or afraid of succeeding? Deal with these now and release the fear so that you can become who you came here to be.

Hi All,
The feedback from these weekly readings has been very positive and because of that I have been thinking that I would like to offer personal three-card readings at a much reduced rate to those of you on Face book. The readings could cover a week, a month or even a specific question that you have regarding a situation in your life. Please email me or call me if this is something you might be interested in. My info is at the bottom of this posting. Now on to this week's reading.
Very interesting, last week we ended with the Two of Wands - Dominion as the outcome card and that's the card of opportunity for this second week of February. Since we are centered and standing in our power from the outcome last week; our opportunity this week is to continue this strength, integration and dominance. So we start this week knowing we are centered in ourselves and when we are integrated and centered we can let go of our ego and let that power greater than ourselves (God, Goddess, Divine Spirit, The Universe, whatever you call it) unfold its miracles.
Which brings us to our energy card for this week and that is The Hanged Man XII. This is a Major Arcana (teaching) card and you will see he is hanging upside down and has nowhere to go. His only choice is to release whatever circumstances he finds himself in. We have the strength and we know that we are even more powerful when we let go. Well, the truth of this card is, that the energy most valuable to ourselves this week is one of letting go and letting that power greater than ourselves take over. When we are centered in the knowledge of our strength we can release our need to have control. Also notice the nest of snakes below his head. Snakes are symbolic of transmuted energy. So when we let go, we shed the skin of the old and our energy is transmuted into the energy of our "authentic" selves as Oprah would say. We have integrated the power of our Higher Self with our self. We know we are Spiritual beings having a Human experience.
And finally the outcome card, The Emperor IV, one of the cards most associated with the physical (human) experience. He symbolizes our physical bodies, health, work, money and career. When we release our need or want to control (The Hanged Man), we are more in control. He also personifies the principles of leadership, adventure, initiation and new beginnings. This is an excellent time for us to successfully start something new with the knowledge of our own strength coupled with the even greater strength we have when we "let go and let God". You are ready.

Wow, the first week of February already. Again, I will say if you are finding these readings helpful, it might be time for you to have a six-month 10 card personal reading. The first card I drew, the opportunity for the week, is The Hierophant V; a major arcana (teaching) card. The Hierophant is the fifth character card in the major arcana and is the epitome of the first four cards; The Magician I (mind), The Priestess II (spirit), The Empress III (emotions) and the Emperor IV (physical). He has integrated all these aspects of himself and is a true spiritual master. He brings the light of awareness out of the darkness of ignorance. Consequently, our opportunity is to become aware (conscious) and use this energy to find our own inner spiritual teacher. For we all have a higher power that speaks within us, so listen to the voice of your heart and know that you have the answers.
Our energy this week is The Empress III and she symbolizes love with understanding and wisdom. She is the archetypical mother nurturing others emotionally and signifies the highest of the feminine principles. She loves with total trust, giving all that she has to give. One thing we need to remember as we offer this energy this week, is that first we must give this love to ourselves and then we can give to others. I am reminded of the rule on the airplane that if the oxygen masks are needed and we are traveling with small children, we need to put them on ourselves first and then attend to the children. We need to love and care for ourselves first and then we will be able to provide this to others.
And finally the outcome of this week's energies, the Two of Wands (Dominion). The suit of Wands is our spiritual energy or life force, what is important to us at our core. The two of wands symbolizes balance, domination and integration. If we are in touch with our inner spiritual master (The Hierophant) and connected to our loving heart (The Empress), then the outcome will be that we are in command of ourselves and will stand out in all situations in which we find ourselves.

Another interesting week in store for us. The first card, our opportunity is the Princess of Wands. Notice she is flying naked with the tiger by the tail, signifying her freedom from fear as she moves in new directions with lots of energy (the red, orange and yellow in the card). This week we all have the opportunity to move onto new paths without our typical fears.
Our energy is symbolized in the second card, The Priestess II. This card rarely comes up in a reading and it is especially significant that it is our energy. The Priestess personifies our soul and particularly our access to our intuitive powers. So this week please listen to that small voice within your deepest Self and follow it, as our intuition is right on. Check in with your gut or heart before making any choices, decisions or taking action. Your higher self knows.
Well, now that I've said that our opportunity is to move in new directions without fear and that your intuition is working perfectly letting you KNOW what you need to do and where you need to go, we come to the outcome card, the yucky looking Ten of Swords. But you knew when you cast off your fears and starting moving in a new direction that that loud, obnoxious voice in your head would start screaming. That's our EGO (Edging God Out). The Ten of Swords is the next layer of fear coming up. You are moving, you are growing and of course FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) is going to come up. Recognize this fear as one of the tapes in your head. Ask yourself whose voice is it? (Your mother's, a teacher, a neighbor, who???) Acknowledge your greatest fear and reframe it in a positive, supportive statement. Remember your Priestess energy and know that you have a power greater than any fear on your side. Go for it! Week of 1/11 - 1/17/2015
Another week, another reading. Trust you are finding these reading enjoyable and helpful in making your daily decisions and choices. In the meantime, here's this week's reading.
Very different energy this week from the last two readings. The first card I drew that signifies the opportunity for the week is The Devil XV card, again another major arcana card. This card is not the devil as we think of the Christian devil who is evil and tempts us to do bad things. The Devil portrayed on the card is the Greek god Pan. Pan probably derives his name from the Greek word root “pa” which translates to “Guardian of the flocks.” Pan was a shepherd and is seen as the guardian between civilization and the wild. He also symbolizes male sexuality and procreative energy. My interpretation of this card is that it is time to "lighten up", stop taking ourselves so seriously and yet stay centered in reality. Face your problems with humor. It is also a time to allow our creative selves to manifest. When sexual energy is NOT expressed sexually, this energy is available to be used for our inspiration and to create our lives as we desire. Our opportunity this week is to be creative with humor.
The energy of the week is The Magus I or The Magician (major arcana). Pictured on this card is the Roman god Mercury. He was considered the god of finance, gymnasts, thieves, merchants and commerce; actually anything that required skill and dexterity. He was also honored as the Messenger of the Gods. Today he is thought of as having more to do with communication. I have interpreted this card that we have the ability to communicate (both verbally and written) our desires in a concise and brilliant manner. It is important that we create environments where we can share this ability as well as exhibit it for the world to see.
And finally the outcome, the card that came up here is the Seven of Cups-Debauch. Time to deal with the yucky emotions (cups). Makes sense that as we open to our creativity and begin to create and communicate our desires, our shadow side also becomes more visible. We begin to deal with our addictions. It is the new year when we are focused on our resolutions to do better this year. We open our eyes and begin to deal with some difficult realities. We can't seem to stick to our diet, exercise plan, stop over spending, drinking, whatever it is that you vowed to change. As you recognize and accept your shadows, they lose their power, but first we must acknowledge them and accept them. And that's what this week is about.

Wow, what powerful energy for this week, 1/4-1/10/2015! The first card I drew was the Fortune-X card, a major arcana card (remember I said last week these are teaching cards). This is in the position of our opportunity for the week. This card is often called the "Wheel of Fortune" and signifies abundance, big breakthroughs, expansion and prosperity. This week be open to miracles and stay aware of new opportunities that are available to you!
The card that came up in the energy of the week position is the Queen of Wands, probably my most favorite card and especially when she comes up in the energy position. She is someone who has done her work and has transformed herself. She knows herself totally, is self-actualized and is now ready to teach others. How can you share your knowledge and wisdom with others? (Here's an interesting side note about the Queen of Wands. In Gerd Ziegler's book, "Tarot, Mirror of the Soul" he suggests that when we get this card "we meditate on the following statement: 'Learning is finding out what you already know. Action is showing that you know. Teaching is letting others know that they know it as well''. This is a quote from Richard Bach's book "Illusions, the Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah".)
And finally the outcome of the week; the card in this position is The Universe-XXI. Note this is the final card in the Major Arcana and closes the circle of the teachings. It signifies completion, wholeness and harmony with the universe. We are at peace with ourselves and the universe. It is time of dancing with life as shown by the naked fairy dancing with the snake. The snake signifies transmuting some energy that no longer serves you. Now you can move onto a new beginning in some significant aspect of your life. What have you completed and where do you want to grow next?
