I am JaVonna, the first intern at Skillz on Wheelz. I currently work as a care manager while pursuing my bachelor's degree in social work and will begin my master’s program this fall, serving my community with intention and compassion.

Each day I am learning, growing, and helping others access support and resources, proving representation matters. My journey reflects resilience, opportunity, and the continuation of Black excellence.

Black history is not only the past, it is happening now, and I am living proof.

I am Eula Green. I embody excellence, leadership, and compassion in spaces where Black clinical voices have been historically underrepresented. I am the first Licensed Clinical Social Worker on Skillz on Wheelz, the first therapist on the team to pursue my PhD, and the owner of The Wellness Culture Collective, LLC.

My strength-based approach centers individuals, families, and communities, blending research with real-life understanding to help people navigate difficult transitions. As a clinician, supervisor, and entrepreneur, I am committed to growing the next generation of healers.

My vision, faith, and dedication to service continue a legacy of Black excellence, proving Black history is not only remembered, but lived.

I am black HIStory

I am Dwayne Mason, the first Black male on Skillz on Wheelz to own my own agency alongside my wife, Amber Mason — Mason Counseling Services — restoring healing, leadership, and hope in communities where Black men’s mental health has too often been overlooked.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring over 7 years of experience serving males across the lifespan from youth to elders with compassion and cultural understanding. From shelters and re-entry programs to supporting African American men through trauma, grief, anxiety, and life transitions, I am committed to breaking stigma and creating safe spaces for healing.

My work reflects faith, service, and a dedication to strengthening the next generation.

I am Kayla Fointno-Richardson creator, counselor, and storyteller. As Skillz on Wheelz’ first self-published author and first therapist to work on SOW, under supervision. I use my voice to educate, inspire, and open doors for others. Every session, every page, and every conversation is intentional, healing our community while honoring our experiences.

My journey as a writer, educator, and creative celebrates Black excellence, imagination, and the courage to own our stories.

Black history is not only what we remember…
It is what we build.
It is what we heal.
It is what we pass forward.
And every day at Skillz on Wheelz, history is still being written.

I am Ikia Young, LPC and….
I am Black HERstory
My work was born at the intersection of grief, vision, and service. After experiencing personal loss, I founded Tulsa Grief & Counseling Center to meet a need that is often overlooked in the Black community—support through grief, loss, and deep emotional pain.
Today, I serve as the first Clinical Director of Skillz on Wheelz, a first-of-its-kind mobile mental health initiative providing free services to those who need them most. As I pursue supervision certification, my passion extends beyond clients to mentoring and uplifting the next generation of clinicians.

Black history lives on through me in healing, leadership, and legacy.

History doesn’t always start in buildings. Sometimes it starts in a parking lot.
At a church.
Outside a barbershop.
On a street where people didn’t think help could reach them.

That’s how history starts.
Skillz on Wheelz was created because our community deserved access to mental health care where they are…not where systems said they should be.

And now this RV is more than a vehicle. It’s a safe place. It’s a symbol.
We are not waiting for change.
We are driving it.

Today, we at Skillz on Wheelz pause to honor the life and legacy of Mother Viola Fletcher, a true pillar of strength, dignity, and resilience in our community. Her story, her courage, and her unwavering faith will continue to inspire generations.
