As part of our Alabama studies this week, we learned that the state reptile is a turtle—so we celebrated by creating our very own turtles! It was a wonderful hands-on activity enjoyed by all.

Our mornings begin with a daily devotion, and the residents are always ready and engaged. One resident shares a thoughtful word after the reading, and it is something we all cherish. Every day, the message speaks directly to our hearts and reminds us of God’s perfect timing.

As we continue exploring Oklahoma history, we learned about Native American culture. The residents created their own headdresses, and it was a wonderful time filled with creativity and fun. We had a wonderful time at the staff Christmas party. We are grateful to God for each person who attended and helped make the evening so special. It was a blessed time of celebration, fellowship, and gratitude.
