Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital is ranked as the #1 spine hospital in the state of Oklahoma, specializing in pain management, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery, general surgery, ophthalmology and gynecologic surgery. The hospital offers state-of-the art and most advanced MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology available. Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital employees enjoyed a Thanksgiving luncheon today! We are so thankful to our food services department for the meal and to our leaders who helped serve. A special congratulations to Charlene, radiology tech, who took first place in our dessert contest with her carrot cake with candied pecans and homemade caramel drizzle. If you've ever had surgery, you'll know the emotional and physical stress that comes with preparing for the procedure and recovering after it's done. During , we want to spotlight the men and women who work hard to ensure a smooth surgical experience, start to finish.

The perioperative nurses are there before surgery, helping the patient with what to expect. In the operating room, they advocate for the patient while they're sedated. Those same nurses are there to help the patient emerge from anesthesia and transition to post-op care in a calm, safe environment.

Perioperative nurses have many responsibilities, but throughout the entire process, they have one person in mind — the patient. We sincerely appreciate our team of perioperative nurses who provide excellent, evidence-based care while also remaining committed to patient safety every day. Thank you for all you do!
