Did you know?
More than 5.3 million Americans are living with permanent brain injuries.

Facts about concussions:
• A concussion is the #1 most common traumatic brain injury (TBI)
• Concussion is caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head
• Having one concussion increases the risk of another, especially if the brain hasn’t fully healed

Common signs & symptoms:
• Headache or pressure in the head
• Dizziness or balance problems
• Confusion or trouble concentrating
• Nausea or vomiting
• Sensitivity to light or noise

Recognizing symptoms and preventing injury can make a life-changing difference. 💚

Light of Hope in Claremore hosts a Seeking Safety group for adolescents every Tuesday from 4:00–5:30 PM. An embedded CREOKS clinician is on site to provide additional support. They also offer a food pantry to help meet basic needs in the community.
