✳️CLIENT MEALS - DINING OUT🤩

Our clients are busy, Busy, BUSY this time of the year and it’s inevitable they will be eating out once or twice a week.

We think they are NAILING it with their meals choices when away from home! 🙌

Here are a few tips that have helped them the most:

🔑Don’t drink your calories! Order WATER when dining out. Most restaurants keep your drink full at all times and it’s easy to drink nearly as many calories as you eat if you don’t pay attention.

🔑Plan ahead! Checkout the restaurants menu online before you go. This will alleviate a lot of stress and minimize the need to make a quick (possibly unhealthy) decision.

🔑Ask for dressing on the side with salads. Bonus if you ask for oil and vinegar. Double bonus if you take your own dressing! Yes - that’s an acceptable thing to do in our book. 🤪

🔑Checkout the SIDES menu and replace anything “suspect” with a safer option.

Planning ahead is a HUGE part of your success when it comes to health and fitness!! 👏🏼👏🏼
👉🏼Example: I knew yesterday that today is going to be busy and we are leaving to go out of town. I am usually an “afternoon” workout person but that isn’t going to happen today. Yesterday I went ahead and PLANNED that I would run after personal training this morning (I really wanted to just go back to bed 😴)… BUT I DIDNT!!

So, moral of the story🤓… I planned ahead and committed to the plan and 6 miles completed before 7:30am 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Now I can start my busy day 🥳🥳
✨I challenge YOU to start practicing PLANNING AHEAD whether it’s with your fitness and/or nutrition. I promise, it will be a GameChanger. 💪🏼💪🏼

A client sent me this picture today 👆🏻and I immediately thought 🤔… this is SO PERFECT! This is the perfect example of how we DO NOT have to have PERFECTLY PREPARED MEALS to reach our goals. In this super simple meal, she is meeting her habits and it’s filled with lots of flavor 😋

✨CROCKPOT MEATLOAF✨

That’s right! I said, CROCKPOT MEATLOAF!! 👏🏼👏🏼

As a busy mom, nothing makes me feel more like “mom of the year” 🏆than having a great dinner ready at the end of the day. So, I incorporate the slow cooker and Instant Pot quite frequently. 🥰

-mix up your meatloaf. I use about 1.5-2lbs of meat (I got a hungry bunch 🤣)
-throw in your favorite veggies to cook for a side.
-set your slow cooker timer to 7:30 hours and FORGET IT!!
-by the time you get home, DINNER IS READY! (My husband says this is a “TOP 5 MEAL” that I cook 😉)

Getting back into a routine can be difficult when all you really want to do is stay in “relax mode” 🧘🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️
Here are a few tips to make coming back to reality a little easier 👇🏼👇🏼

🟣 Try to continue your workout routine while on vacay, whether it’s in the hotel gym, a body weight workout in your condo or on the beach 🥰, or just doing things like taking the stairs and getting some extra steps in.

🟣Increase your water intake! 💦

🟣 We all like to indulge while on vacation, which is ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY FINE! When you get home, really load up on the veggies!! I like to think of it as a little detox. 😉Our bodies crave all the colorful veggies and they make us feel really great too ❤️

It is so important to get a wide variety of fruits of vegetables in your daily diet. All the colors provide great vitamins and minerals our bodies CRAVE 😋😋😋 The more you eat the “good stuff”, the more you want it 🥳🥳🥳

QUICK VEGGIE PREP
-Pre-heat oven to 425
-chop all your favorite veggies 🫑🍆🥦🥕🍅🧅🍠
-season with olive oil spray, garlic powder, onion powder, & kosher salt
-cook approximately 35 minutes
-ENJOY! 🤩

👉Scrambled eggs with spinach and onions. Fresh berries. Avocado. Whole wheat toast.

👉Smoothie bowl. Protein powder, spinach, almond butter & avocado blended with water. Topped with granola crumbles and fresh fruit.

👉Super shake with protein powder, sunflower butter, spinach, and frozen mixed berries.

👉Breakfast “sandwich” made with mini protein pancakes, egg white, turkey sausage & mixed greens. Apple on the side.
