Meet my new Acupuncturist, she is wonderful!

Meet our Acupuncuturist and Owner of Nightingale Acupuncture, Dr. Ann Marie Sanders!

From growing up between the Philippines and the U.S. as part of a military family, to years spent caring for patients as a nurse, Dr. Ann Marie Sanders’s life has always been rooted in serving others. After many years of nursing, she found a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture while working in an acupuncture clinic. This experience inspired her to pursue her doctorate and train in clinics across the U.S., Japan, and soon Taiwan. She is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, registered nurse, and NCCAOM Board-Certified Acupuncturist. She now brings her rich experience and compassion to her business by treating pain, hormone imbalances, digestive issues, stress, performing cosmetic facial acupuncture and micro-needling, and much more. She loves the opportunity to help others and bring relief, and she is so excited to help should you need it!

Movement is medicine!

We often say we want to change, to grow, to improve, to reach that next level…but then we keep showing up in the same ways; with the same habits, the same mindset and the same routines.

But Pilates is about waking up the body and the mind.

Growth requires the willingness to be uncomfortable. To challenge your ego.
To face what needs work.

And when you do, that’s the moment change happens.

Next time you step into the studio ask yourself:
What am I doing out of habit?
What can I change or shift?
Am I brave enough to choose something challenging over something familiar?

Those exercises you avoid? …You need them!
Romana used to say “if there’s an exercise you hate, you need to do it twice!” 😄

You don’t need to transform overnight. You just need the courage to start doing things a little differently.

Whether you’re a student working on your practice, or a teacher guiding others, you really can’t know what can be done unless you’re willing to try something different!
