They told us it was cursed. They forgot to mention it was once consecrated. 🌙🔥🌻

Let’s rewind the tape.

Friday has long been tied to Venus, the planet of love, beauty, pleasure, artistry. A whole cosmic wink toward the feminine. The word Friday comes from Old English, meaning “day of F***g.” F***g, the Norse goddess of love, fertility, and motherhood. Often intertwined with Freya, goddess of beauty, s*x, fertility, and even war. Soft and sovereign. Tender and untouchable. Creation and destruction in the same velvet glove.

Red threads everywhere.

Then there is 13. Not chaotic. Cyclical. Sacred.

There are thirteen moon cycles in a year. Many women’s bodies move in rhythm with those thirteen lunar turns. The moon itself has always symbolized feminine energy. It tugs oceans. It tugs emotions. It hums in the quiet corners of our sensitivity and power.

Put Friday and 13 together and you do not get doom.

Before patriarchal rule rewrote the narrative, Friday the 13th was said to be a day honoring feminine energy. A celebration of the goddess within. A reverence for the cycles of creation, death, rebirth. Blood as power. Intuition as wisdom. Sensuality as sacred.

When society shifted from matriarchal to patriarchal, many sacred feminine rites were stripped of reverence. Cycles were labeled impure. Power became something to fear instead of understand. Even the word sacred seemed to get rearranged into scared.

She sent me press ons as inspo and I got as close as I could! Played around with some new colored acrylic and gave her what she asked for! She said mermaid fairy and I said wild berry pop tarts! Haha.

We brought back the gorgeous, magnetic, sapphire blue, and upgraded it from her normal red. I absolutely envy people with skin tones that make jewel shades pop! It’s hard when you’re the shade of Casper. 😅💁🏼‍♀️

Literally. No words express how damn gorgeous some of these colors are. So enjoy 10 seconds of looking at these beauties while listening to Enya- I gotta get back to putting tint up on the new shop windows. 😂✨

Can I just say  how proud I am to see this set not only last four weeks but eight weeks without lifting?! 😍😬

Didn’t wanna shoot for straight shamrocks- so we slid into a pixie iridescent sage green and paired it with a shimmery set of green camo print on French vanilla white.


PS: Starting the process of rebuilding in a new place has been exhausting and exciting. But You guys are gonna love my new place! ✨

That’s all I could think of when setting these gems in place. Haha. Little bit of Aurora vibes and manifestation in the best of ways. Getting a decent picture is always a fun challenge when your little helpers are part of the picture taking process.

Today we celebrated a birthday and hosted a gaggle of pre teens who could shatter glass with their squeals and screams of happiness.

Which was pretty much what happened the whole time. 😅😂

Loved being a part of such a happy celebration! Manicures with nail goody bags, facials, tinsel and great company to whip up a fantastic Spa Birthday. 💅🏻✨🎂
