I’m teaming up with IVC (Interlink Volunteer Caregivers) on something that actually matters.

These are the people making sure folks who are disabled, chronically ill, or older can stay in their homes and live their lives. They do free rides, build ramps, install grab bars… real, practical help that keeps people independent.

They’ve got a raffle + golf tournament coming up, and honestly, there’s no excuse not to get involved.

✨You can donate something for the raffle.
✨You can throw in $20 and call it good.
✨You can “big” sponsor part of the tournament if you’re feeling fancy.

It’s not about how big or small, it’s just about showing up so they can keep helping more people outside of just Twin Falls County.

Absolutely loving seeing your faces again after the week I just crawled out of. Truly felt like I fought a raccoon and lost. Haha.

Also… turns out filming nails is its own extreme sport- kinda like cheerleading. 😜

Alright, I’ve got another not-so-fun little announcement to drop…

After holding out as long as humanly possible, I’ve officially had to cave to the rising cost of… literally everything. 🫠
Prices will be increasing by $10 across the board.

I hate it. You hate it. The economy is doing the most right now.

PSA from The Crone’s Hand:

Please do not bring your sick child to your appointment.

I completely understand how hard childcare can be, and I do not mind you bringing a well-behaved child with you. I try my best to be accommodating to everyone. But bringing in a sick child puts me, my space, and other clients at risk—especially those who may be immunocompromised.

This also applies if you are sick, or if there is sickness in your home. If you know ahead of time that you or your child aren’t feeling well, I am more than understanding and will happily reschedule your appointment with no fee. Responsibility, communication, and accountability go a long way here.

I have four kids. Managing sickness in my own home is already a full-time event. When I get sick from exposure in the studio, I have to reschedule clients, which directly affects my income. I don’t get PTO, and this is my main source of support for my family. I can’t afford to be taken out like that—and I would never come in sick and risk doing the same to you.

So moving forward:
If you knowingly bring a sick child to your appointment, or come in sick yourself, you will be charged double your service total and placed on a three-strike policy.

In 10 years of doing nails, I’ve never had to be this firm—but it’s necessary. It’s not fair or responsible to spread illness.

After a recent exposure, it took about a day and a half for it to hit my household, and now it’s hit me. I’ll likely be out for several days because of it.

I hope you understand where I’m coming from—not just as your nail tech, but as a mom trying to keep her family and business running.
