We used "Leaves and Letters" for our monthly scavenger hunt today! The letters spelling each word were hidden in different rooms. After the residents found all the leaves, they worked together to unscramble the words. Truly "I am thankful for our Meadow View family"!

We had a special visitor today for some pet therapy: Kivi the cat! This is her 3rd time here, and she now recognizes some of her favorite residents and enjoying seeing them all. It got a little tiring at one point, so she had to lay down for a little rest. But then she was back up and exploring rooms and loving on people. She will be happy to come back again soon!

We had an "Eyeball Hunt" with little plastic eyeballs hidden all around the public areas. Some were in pretty sneaky places. Marilyn won by finding a whopping 24 eyeballs! Great job, Marilyn!

We had "spider races" today and used special spooky straws to blow plastic spiders across the table. Everyone did great! One of the resident's family even joined the fun. We definitely all took a minute to catch our breath afterwards. lol
