Undergraduate Brother of the Month: Cedric Abney

Cedric Abney is a senior at Jarvis Christian University majoring in Kinesiology who exemplifies achievement, leadership, and service through his dedication to academic excellence, campus involvement, and community engagement. As Vice President of the Student Government Association and Polemarch of the Zeta Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Cedric leads with purpose and integrity, consistently working to uplift and unite the student body. His ability to balance multiple leadership roles while maintaining strong academic performance reflects his drive for excellence. Cedric’s achievements extend beyond campus as he is a two-time NWCA NAIA Scholar All-American and made history as the first student to serve as the keynote speaker for Jarvis Christian University’s Fall Convocation for the Class of 2029, inspiring new students to pursue excellence and purpose. Through his fraternity and university leadership, he has organized events that promote student success, mentorship, and community service. Cedric’s passion for helping others continues to guide his pursuit of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, where he aims to serve and rehabilitate athletes in the future.
