The Purple Door Wellness Center is a faith-based initiative specializing in counseling in the areas of prevention of teenage pregnancies, marriage, family, personal trauma and addictions since 1999. For over 15 years, Dr. Yvonne Bennett PhD., as a licensed Professional Christian Counselor Clinical Therapist, has been providing counseling for those in need. The center has served as an oasis for hundreds of individuals and their families.

I'm so thankful for the positive comments on social media. That's the real purpose.
People are in need of encouragement and love as never before. Hurtful and degrading comments are not necessary. People get that all the time in this life from every where. Let’s continue to love and spread peaceful, joyful and encouraging thoughts to everyone. Let the grudges go and live in peace with all men. No one is flawless. Everyone needs a bath in the pool of forgiveness! Lets show this generation how to love and not hate. Let’s show this generation how to be selfless and not selfish. Grudges and hate causes more damage to the human body and mind than you can imagine. Mental illness is on the high rise! Those of us who are rooted and grounded in the Word of God have the answers that people are searching for. To whom much is given much is required. God expects us to use what He has blessed us with. Look for the good fruit in people instead of just the fallen leaves. Just keep this in mind before negative thoughts come to your mind about people: “See through the eyes of the Spirit of Jesus, not with the eyes of the flesh”.
If you think positive, negative won’t have any space!

I use to think it was all about me. What a selfish attitude. I'm so glad I came out of that ridiculous way of thinking. There are so many people who are in need of your wisdom. I had to come to realize that others have been disappointed in life too. So, I allowed God to heal my pain so He could use me to help others get healed. Everyone has a story! I want my story to be how I helped someone get through life and not how much I have been hurt in this life by others and by myself. How did I do that? I began to thank God for His Grace and Mercy instead of drowning in my own tears. As long as you stay down you will never be able to help others get up! Whatever has caused you pain in this life, don't allow others to suffer for things they didn't cause. Pain has to go somewhere. It will go from you to others who had nothing to do with it. Give your hurt to Jesus, He can handle it! He is the burden bearer not people!!!!!

You may not always like the challenges that come your way, but know this without them you will never grow to reach the destiny that is designed for you. I am grateful for every stone, every rock, or every hurdle that came my way. It has caused me to know and to appreciate God's Grace and Favor!

There are so many times in our life when we weren't able to see the light. Times were rough and darkness was deep. What did we do? We fought through those dark moments not even knowing if we could make it through. But we made it!!! It was faith then, and it's faith now. We took that mustard seed faith and put it to work!!! Guess what? It still works. Keep the faith in God moving and see what God has next for you in this life! There is much more to come. This is not the end of your story it's still being written!!!!!

Don't wait until it's too late. Get Help NOW!!!! Your situation will only defeat you if you keep feeding it. You have to starve it! Don't feed it unless it's the Word of God!!!! You become what you eat. If you eat negative, defeat, disappointment, rejection, depression, low self esteem, past hurts, or thoughts of revenge you will never become more than any of the above. You are very valuable. That's why Satan tries to keep feeding you his meal. The next time he comes at you, tell him, "I'm Not Hungry because I'm full of God's Word". Speak it, live it, and serve it to some one else because they're hungry too!!!!

Good morning !!!
The only help that is bad is the help you don't receive!!!!!Please don't allow depression, anxiety, or any other negative thing stop you from pursing your protential. You have great things to look forward to but you won't see it if you allow negative things to hold on to you.
You can be victorious !!! That's Freedom!!

No one knows you better than you. Be honest with yourself so healing can really take place. The longer you allow hurt to hold onto you the harder it is is to let go.
Your pain becomes like a river. It flows from one person to the next. It will connect itself to the weakest person in your life. Pain has to go somewhere, it can't stay in one place. It's like Covid-19, it's contagious! The pain effects everyone differently, but it's still pain. The mask has to come off. You have covered up the past hurts and the current hurts too long! Please , get healed so others are not infected by your hurts, disappointments, and your frustrations.
