đ¤ Your body already knows how to calm down, you just have to remind it.
This weekâs video is live!
Iâm walking you through two simple techniques you can use right before you step on stage:
⨠The 4-7-8 breathing method, for instant calm
⨠The 5-senses grounding exercise, to bring you back to the present moment
These are tools you can use anywhere, anytime, even as youâre walking on stage.
Hey, friends! You know I started a YouTube channel last month, and I've been sending newsletters to add some extra tidbits of info and to give early access. I'd love to get your honest feedback (your ideas and input, not an electronic squeal). As someone who's close to me and in on this at the beginning, your voice really matters to me. I still know almost everyone here--I love that and I appreciate you! Please take 2 minutes to answer some questions (I timed it). It means so much! Thank you. https://forms.gle/6fBvdyaknVKNf2DR9

Most people think mindfulness means meditating or adding one more thing to their busy schedule. But what if itâs really just about how you pay attention, right now? đż
đŹ âHow do I calm down right before going on stage?â
If youâve ever asked yourself that, youâre not alone, itâs one of the most common questions I get from singers and performers.
The good news? It only takes one minute to shift from anxiety to calm, and this weekâs video will show you two ways to do it.
⨠Learn how to ground your energy, steady your breath, and walk on stage with clarity and calm confidence.
Mindful awareness isnât something to do, itâs a way to be. đż
In this weekâs video, I break down mindfulness into simple, practical steps you can use right now, no incense, no silence, no extra time needed.
Youâll learn:
⨠What mindful awareness actually is
⨠How to come back to the present moment (even mid-performance)
⨠A simple âMajor Triadâ practice to stay grounded: Thoughts, Feelings, Actions
You donât need to be perfect at staying focused, you just need to notice when youâre not.

âYour body is your instrumentâ? I donât think so.
As a singer, youâve heard that. But if thatâs what you believe, you will never be the performer you could be! Youâre cheating yourself and your audience if you stop there.
As a singer/vocal coach, health/life coach and massage therapist I have seen that you need your physical body for creating the structure: the breathing, the sound, and the ears to critically listen and discern. You also need your mental and emotional capacity to learn, interpret, feel, and convey the message and the meaning the composer had in mind. Finally, the other part of your instrument is your spiritual voice: the magical-mystical inspired part that sings through you and lands in the heart of your listener and moves their soul to weep or cheer.
Do you want to be a better performer and sing with confidence and consistency? Have better breath support and energy, singing with confidence all the way to the ends of the phrase? Shaping your vocal line to rise and fall with the emotion of the message? Would being able to do that be more fun?
I can teach you the vocal warm ups and techniques to improve your voice, your breathing, and your power. What Iâll do thatâs different is teach you all the back-stage tricks to create HARMONY between your body, your mind, and your voice so you can sing with ease and stability, energy and stamina, and have more fun and confidence.
