We’re still feeling the holiday joy. Our BAYADA Home Health Care, Big Island, HI - Medicare Certified team came together for two community toy drives, supporting the The Salvation Army - County of Hawaii Angel Tree and a local domestic abuse shelter in Kona.

By providing gifts and sharing kindness, they helped bring comfort, hope, and holiday cheer to children and families across their communities. We are grateful for our Big Island team and their ongoing commitment to compassion, and service. ❤️

At BAYADA, community service is at the heart of how we live our mission. Our Global Support Center team organized a holiday gift and toy drive for the Providence House Holiday Store, supporting families healing from domestic violence.

Through a festive “Giving Tree” of wish-list ornaments, employees chose gifts to help bring hope and holiday joy to families in need.

For Susie, a BAYADA Director of Transitional Care, home care nursing became a meaningful new chapter after more than 30 years as a NICU nurse. When Jessie’s family invited her to help Jessie transition home, she didn’t yet realize how rewarding this shift to home care would be.

BAYADA’s Fostering Acceptance, Inspiring Trust and Harmony (F.A.I.T.H.) Employee Resource Council (ERC) fosters an inclusive workplace where all beliefs are respected and everyone feels welcome.

Recently, the F.A.I.T.H. ERC partnered with Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry in Black Mountain, NC for the annual Deck the Trees fundraiser supporting the Fuel Fund, which helps neighbors stay warm during winter. Embracing the theme Christmas in Music & Song, the team created a Taylor Swift–inspired tree, In My Merry Era, spreading joy while giving back.

Kenson was born with a rare heart condition called heterotaxy syndrome, which meant his heart formed on the right side of his chest.

This year, he became a Make-A-Wish America recipient, dreaming of a sunny getaway to Palm Springs, California. Thanks to the BAYADA Behavioral Health team, Kenson and his family had an unforgettable trip filled with laughter, exploration, and simply enjoying being a kid.

Did you know that October is Fire Prevention Month? Here's some tips from the American Red Cross to keep you and your loved ones safe!:

❗Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms and outside sleeping areas.
❗Test smoke alarms every month. If they’re not working, change the batteries.
❗Talk with all family members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year.
❗If a fire occurs in your home, GET OUT, STAY OUT and CALL FOR HELP. Never go back inside for anything or anyone.
