Something has been quietly growing behind the scenes… 🌱

Coming soon.

What do you think it could be?

08/03/2026

Recently a friend asked me a question:
“Isn’t self-care selfish?”

Sometimes people think it is... especially when your boundaries interfere with what they want from you.

But self-care is not selfish.

Self-care is simply you meeting your own needs in the moment, because no one can fully understand those needs the way you do.

Maybe it’s resting because you’re exhausted and canceling a date or a girls’ night.
Maybe it’s stepping away from certain conversations for the sake of your mental well-being.
Maybe it’s saying “no” when something doesn’t sit right with you.
Maybe it’s setting boundaries to protect your peace.

None of that is selfish.

Self-care is not about rejecting others... it’s about honoring yourself.
During my Friend Friday live session, I colored this page from a good friend’s coloring book, Color Your Confidence by Shakia Fuller . It was loved by the beautiful people who joined the live... and by me, of course. 😊

And honestly, it turned out even prettier than I imagined.

If you’re curious, the book is available on Amazon.

Take care of yourself today.
You deserve that care.

Hey hey hey everyone!!!
Super excited over here. ✨

A little coloring.
A little reflection.
Something new is blooming soon. 🌱

What colors would you choose for this one?

Pass The Flame 🔥

Tonight I colored the very first Pass the Flame card.

What started as a blank page became a reminder that even a small spark can grow into something bright.

Coloring this felt like tending to my own light... slowly, patiently, one layer at a time.

Question of the day:
What is something within you that still deserves to shine?..

If you were coloring this, what colors would you choose?

Each Pass the Flame card is part of an ever-growing archive from Foila’s Journey Diary.

Pass The Flame cards aren’t sold... they are gifted to people who walk and grow alongside this journey.

Soooo… I didn’t think I’d be this proud of the final result with the way I started this page. I honestly considered starting over.

But guess what? Even while coloring, the message spoke loudly to me. It reminded me to keep going. To make beauty out of what I first thought was “so bad.” And in the end, this became a real success... something I’d actually hang on my walls.

Thank you to every single one of you who sat with me and shared meaningful conversations. Thank you to those who opened up about your struggles and your vulnerabilities. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey and your growth.

I’m waiting on that fun game night.
I’m waiting on the network to put your name out.
I’m waiting on the new world adventure.
I’m waiting on the invitation.

Four different lives. Four different stories. One connection. You know who you are.

May each and every one of you continue to seek the good when only bad seems to emerge.

May your journey be bold.
May your journey be healing.
May your journey be beautiful.

We are greater than the rough drafts we almost gave up on. 💛

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that at some point in life, many of us are troubled by our appearance.

A pimple on the face.
Back acne.
Too thin. Too thick.
No glutes. Big b***s.
Unruly hair.
A deformation.
A disability.
Something.

For me, it was always my weight.

I was a chubby kid. I tried different diets. I played sports. I did what I thought I needed to do. But the weight remained.

So I adapted.
I learned to walk lightly so I wouldn’t thump the ground.
To squeeze myself smaller so I wouldn’t bump into anyone.
To make myself shorter… or taller… depending on the space I was trying to fit into.

But no matter how much I tried to change my body, one thing never changed... my heart.

And over the years, as I’ve listened to other people’s stories, I’ve realized something:

No matter their shape or size…
No matter what they obsessed over physically…
They still did great things.
They still made beautiful impacts.
They still shined.

This piece from my coloring book is dedicated to a great woman, who has been shamed yet stood her ground, ridiculed yet kept telling her story, told to disappear yet danced boldly with a smile.

You are great.

This is also for my family and friends who once struggled (and maybe still struggle) with how they look.

You are great.

And to those who don’t know me yet…
Big or small.
Short or tall.
Full-headed or bald.
Standing tall or wheelchair-bound.

You are great.

Our bodies are vehicles to care for... but they do not define who we are.

Keep being beautiful.

We are great.

This drawing is from my coloring book, REMEMBER, Link in bio.

March 1, 2026
Challenge 1 of 10

Unripe Pineapple 🍍💚

I just started a March challenge with and today is Day 1:
Monochrome Moment (using one color family from light to dark).

I chose green.

Growth.
Becoming.
Not fully ripe… but developing beautifully.

I’m coloring from ’s coloring book "Tropical", and this one felt intentional.

How does this connect to self-care?

First... I’m coloring.
That alone slows my breathing.
It quiets the mental chatter.
It allows me to release tension and focus my thoughts.

Today, I focused on where my business is going… and how excited I am about it.

Second... this is a pineapple. A super fruit.

Fun fact: Pineapples don’t ripen after they’re picked. Once they’re harvested, that’s it.
Which reminds me... growth has to happen while you’re still planted. 🌱

You don’t wait until you’re “out there” to develop.
You grow where you are.

So here it is.
Day 1 of 10.

Join in on the challenge or stay tuned to see what unfolds next 💚

The thing about coloring is…

At first, it doesn’t always look attractive.
Just black and white. Plain. Almost boring.

But when you begin to put your world on the page... your colors, your choices, your vision... the beauty starts to come through.

You couldn’t have imagined how beautiful it would become.

And honestly? Blessings can be the same way.
Sometimes they look too simple.
Too ordinary.
Too “black and white.”

But when we slow down…
When we notice the details…
When we give them value ...

That’s when the color shows up.
That’s when we realize it had been beautiful all along.

Thank you 's coloring🦄 for joining in!
Thank you to all my family and friends who colored with me.
And thank you to all of my gifters... I see you and appreciate you 🤍

Today is Friend Friday 🎨
I’ll be coloring from a friend’s coloring book today.

Much love. Stay blessed.
The weekend is here ✨

It was so much fun coloring with tonight! 🎨🤍

Tonight I colored from coloring book and it was sooo satisfying. There’s something about slowing down and letting the colors blend that just feels right.

Our Question of the Day was:
What’s your favorite way to relax?

And it looks like… most of you choose your bed 😅✨
(Which honestly, I understand.)

I love how something as simple as coloring can create space to unwind, connect, and just be.

Looking forward to doing this again soon. If you missed it, you can always join us next time just grab your colors and use 🎨
