Mission

AGFC is a nonprofit organization that will provide Psycho-Educational services to enhance the mental health needs in our community. These services will provide a deeper understanding of the impact on mental and spiritual health on daily lives. These services can be provided in several different settings and formats such as small group, individuals, and not limited to enrichment workshops. AGFC is dedicated to advocating for social change and prompting the growth in each individual. AGFC believes that this will in turn strengthen our community.

Goal

The goal of AGFC is to empower individuals to identify risks factors that can decrease effects on their daily life. This will be accomplished by addressing issues that can cause distracted, stress, and trauma. AGFC will offer small group settings to address and teach skills building in the following areas: anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, and lack of resources, career readiness, and many other daily life issues. AGFC will also assist with connecting individual to further professional services or in a safe and confidential environment.

Objectives

To educate individuals on the importance of maintaining good mental health growth in the work place.

To assists individuals in identifying warning signs of mental health issues.

To provide small group and individual services to promote skill building that can lead to good mental health in the work place and other settings.

To provide motivational groups/individual to enhance strengthens and coach them to using these strengthens to help others and make positive discussions.

To provided conflict and wellness skills building trainings.
