It warms my heart to be a part of a community that has so successfully followed pandemic regulations , and allowed the county to keep its numbers as low as they are.
Small businesses have been, and are still being affected by this- many permanently.
So as things start to reopen, please make sure to check in on them as they need your support now more then ever.
HOWEVER, we must be aware of how well we have done and not take that for granted. It is because of the conscious efforts of everyone that we have been able to come out of this with covid cases lower then 90% of New York.
PROTECT YOURSELF. PROTECT OTHERS. Continue to respect the threat this virus poses to our children, elderly, and those with underlying conditions.
I will continue to do my part and spend all day making masks to provide to the community.
