Give yourself grace.

If something feels frustrating — notice it. (Like my wrapping station situation.)
If something works — remember it.

You don’t need a new system two days before Christmas.

You can use the information later and do something about it then.
For now enjoy being with loved ones and celebrating our Savior’s birth. Merry Christmas!

Just had a conversation where I mentioned that I often feel burdened by things I think I should do.
I’ve been carrying around weights I don’t actually need to bear.

Jesus—the reason for this season, when so many of us feel extra tired and restless—tells us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

What if we let go of the burdens we’ve been carrying and took hold of His hand instead?

And celebrate that He came to this earth as a humble baby so we could come… and rest.

Anyone else need a little more grace right now? 🙋‍♀️

Small things add up.

When the first drawer you open in the morning feels calm, the rest of the day has a better chance of following suit.

It’s not about perfection — just making life a little easier and removing a few points of friction.

Just to clarify - this doesn’t include your spouse’s prize baseball card collection, your kid’s favorite tee shirt, or your important tax documents. 😂

Lol- Had to toss the rest of the tea bags I was drinking because it made me sick. I didn’t realize it had expired a couple years ago. 🙄

FYI - Things that make me cringe - talking to the camera! First-timer here - but I’m taking a course and I’ve joined an online community that’s pushing me outside of my comfort zone! Thanks

If your basement stresses you out, this idea might help.

Storage areas can create stress even when they’re out of sight. Most people want to open the door, grab what they need, and not feel overwhelmed.

For this family, a little decluttering and smarter placement made a huge difference. We moved less-used items—like extra paint and kids’ clothes being saved for a younger sibling—to the back of the basement, and placed their most-used seasonal items right by the stairs.

Because everything is zoned together and close to the entry, now they can run downstairs and quickly get what they need.

Pro tip: If your kitchen is tight, instead of seasonal items, you can keep extra appliances, food backstock, or less-used kitchen items near the basement stairs so they’re easy to grab.

I’ve gotten stuck in my head and not been moving forward. Figured it was about time I posted what’s on my heart! ❤️

A family of seven means a lot is happening in this home. For them, a pantry makeover wasn’t just about bins and labels — it was about making intentional choices so that everyday life is smoother, more peaceful, and a little less chaotic.

Need your pantry to work for your life? I’d love to help!

Ever notice how sometimes your space either works with you or against you?

When something’s hard to reach, we tend to forget about it, avoid using it, or worse—create a mess trying to get to it and then feel too lazy to put it back. (Hi, I’ve been there.🙋‍♀️🫣)

But the problem might not be you — it may be the system.

Give your most-used items the prime real estate they deserve - ok, that you deserve! Because when your essentials are easy to access, your space is easier to keep tidy with less effort.

What’s one high-use item in your home that deserves a better spot?

Weary? Burdened? ✔️✔️
Rest for my soul — I want it! Don’t you?
Breathe in those words.
What could it mean?

Quiet
Calm
Peace

Even if life is chaotic and busy and upside down?

Jesus says YES- telling me to let go and set ME, MYSELF, and I aside…
And look to HIM - who is gracious, promising rest. He knows what’s on my mind and heart. He knows what’s coming next. I don’t have to worry or be obsessed with living up to expectations. My brain can stop running in circles!

It’s not about being religious or performing perfectly or doing all the right things. It’s about listening and surrendering and obeying Him —
The One who is humble, gentle, and loves each of us immensely.

And then everything becomes clearer.
What’s less important loses its grip.
What matters most comes into focus.

Thankful for this invitation today. 🫶

The holiday season can be super overwhelming. Between finding the perfect gift and snagging the best deals, it's easy to get stressed out. To help you slow down and focus on what truly matters, here are some questions to consider. Remember, sometimes the best gift is simply something on their wish list - and that's totally okay! What's one question that will guide your gift-giving this year? Share your thoughts! ⬇️

Let me know in the poll what your main goal is when giving a gift. (I won’t tell on you if it’s the last one! 😉)
