Become a Home Health Aide with Adult Alternative Home Care

At Adult Alternative Home Care, we Provide HHA Courses with the flexibility of completing part of the course from the comfort of your home. Our three-week course includes 60 hours of classroom instruction, followed by 16 hours of hands -on clinical training in a patient care setting, a total of 76 hours.

Adult Alternative Home Care offers NJ Board of Nursing approved CHHA training in Elizabeth, NJ. Once you complete the course and receive your certification our agency can also provide job placement with our expanding clientele.

In less than a month, you’ll learn:

● How to provide compassionate, individualized care to your clients.
● Effective communication skills.
● How to lift and move clients safely while providing essential personal care.
● How to assess your client’s needs and document them appropriately.
● Infection prevention protocol, including how to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Our rigorous, NJ Board of Nursing approved curriculum includes:

● An introduction to the role of the U.A.P. in nursing care settings
● Foundations for working with people
● Safety training
● Systems and Related Care
