It's Spring Yall!... well almost πŸ˜‚

We are excited for this winter season to be coming to an end and are looking forward to all the connections that spring has to offer so we are planning a super fun spring event.

Our Community Yard Sale and Labyrinth Reveal! This event will feature..

* a Community Yard Sale
* the Labyrinth Reveal
* a Perinatal Expo of local professionals
* a Food Truck for your convenience πŸ˜‰

We have a few things we're ready to part with so we figured we'd invite you to join us and do the same. Comment TABLE for more info and to get your table space reserved today!

We can't wait to share the labyrinth with you too! Your support in building it has been phenomenal and we hope you'll swing through to check it out. If this is all news to you, its not too late. You can still purchase your memorial brick (link in bio or website donate page) and be a part of building a better birth community in our area!

And for more fun and great vibes we'll host food truck Lil Momma D's and have several perinatal professionals sharing fun and engaging presentations that are sure to add to your resource treasure box.

We are so excited to connect with you 😍 See you soon!!

😴 If you’re pregnant and feeling fatigued or experiencing restless sleep, there are solutions that can help you turn this around.

The physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy can often disrupt a woman's regular sleep patterns but we’ve got some tips to help you get some zzz’s, mama.

First, let’s get real about the challenges so aspiring moms-to-be know what to expect:

1️⃣ Physical Discomfort - As the baby grows, a pregnant woman's body goes through numerous changes, which can lead to physical discomfort.
2️⃣ Frequent Urination - The growing uterus puts pressure on the bladder, leading to increased trips to the bathroom during the night, which disrupts the sleep cycle.
3️⃣ Hormonal Changes - Fluctuations in hormone levels, particularly an increase in progesterone, can lead to increased fatigue during the day and restlessness at night.
4️⃣ Stress and Anxiety - Pregnancy can bring about a mix of emotions, including excitement, anticipation, and worry. These emotional changes can interfere with the ability to relax and fall asleep.

All of these are normal AND...

Here are a few changes you can make to combat the effects of these challenges:

βœ” Establish a Bedtime Routine
βœ” Optimize Your Sleeping Environment
βœ” Practice Good Sleep Hygiene
βœ” Use Pillows for Support (your exact number is unknown but more than 2!)
βœ” Stay Hydrated During the Day

When you practice relaxation now, labor becomes easier later.

Birth is a physical process guided by the nervous system.
The more familiar your body is with calm, the easier it is to access it when things get intense.

So, regular massage isn’t just acute relief or luxurious pampering, it’s preparation and training.
It helps your body practice releasing, trusting, and working with birth.

πŸ‘‰ Book a prenatal massage and give your body a skill it will use on birth day.
