Aloha Friends,
Since time is of the essence for my Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser. I have made and bought many useful items to encourage donations. I will post a video tomorrow so you can see them.
(Turkish towels, yoga straps, handmade organic flax seed eye pillows, handmade aloha support pillows, handmade decoupage shells by Mary Ellrodt of Seascapes, handmade shell earrings, handmade sponges, handmade fabric leis, etc!)
All profits go towards the fundraiser (check out link below and lmk if you have questions, I can ship if you are not on Maui)
My goal is $5,600 since the walk is in November and I will also be turning 56 the same month. So please make my bday wishes come true by donating any amount possible, tax deductible of course. It is especially important to support nonprofits with all the alarming defunding that is currently our shared reality. Thank you for considering any and all donations!
"On behalf of the more than 7 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer’s and the millions more who will develop dementia, the Alzheimer’s Association is gravely concerned by the proposed FY2026 budget released by the Trump administration.
The proposal, which includes substantial cuts to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) including a 40% cut to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), will limit our nation’s ability to address the needs of people living with dementia and their caregivers, and set research advancements back decades."
I am participating in Walk to End Alzheimer's. Donate today and help me reach my goal.
