This event features an open donation at the door, with all proceeds benefiting LWSRA and helping provide inclusive recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities in our community.

🥶🌊 LWSRA took the plunge! 🌊🥶

This past Saturday, March 7, our LWSRA staff and participants braved the cold, the wind, and the freezing water for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge! The temperatures were low, the wind was strong, and the water was definitely freezing — but that didn’t stop our team from jumping in

Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of our supporters, Team LWSRA raised over $3,500 for Special Olympics!

Way to go, team! 👏

On March 8th, LWSRA participants enjoyed watching the Chicago Steel take on the Waterloo Black Hawks. It was also a night of celebrating Rusty, the mascot's, birthday! The Steel took the victory and all the participants had a great time!

Big day for Sensory Mobile 1!!! 🚌💙🎉

We just added a GIANT screen to the bus, and we already know the kiddos are going to LOVE it! 📱✨ From interactive games to sensory-friendly activities, this new addition is going to bring so much fun and engagement on the go.

We can’t wait to see all the smiles when they try it out!
