Exciting announcement: we are pleased to share the new Broad River logo!

At first glance, the design brings together the letters B and R, a simple nod to our name. But within those letters, something more meaningful takes shape: a river flowing through the center. This represents the Broad River of North Carolina, where our story began.

Rivers symbolize movement, connection, and progress. That idea reflects who we are as an organization. While therapy remains at the heart of what we do, we have also evolved to deliver tools, technology, and ideas that help our teams and partners succeed.

The river also represents the journey we are on together. It honors our roots while pointing toward the future and the opportunities ahead. At the center of that journey is a simple idea that guides our work every day: Simplify Success. Whether supporting therapists, empowering partners, or improving outcomes for residents, our goal is to remove complexity and help others succeed.

We are grateful for the therapists, partners, and residents who travel this path with us. We look forward to continuing the journey together!

Huge shout-out to Madison Plunk, SLP!

She consistently goes above and beyond for each and every resident she serves. Madison actively involves families in the care process and demonstrates strong interdisciplinary collaboration within the facility and across the therapy team.
Her dedication does not go unnoticed. The therapy teams at Brookridge and The Chateau ALF see firsthand the level of care, professionalism, and compassion she brings every day. Even more importantly, residents frequently express how heard, supported, and validated they feel through the education and guidance she provides to them and their families.
We truly could not ask for a better team member. Thank you, Madison, for the incredible impact you make!

On Friday, February 13th, the Rehab Department of Kirby Pines catered to three beautiful married couples who reside in the Villa (Assisted Living). This was a fine dining experience from beginning to end. From being escorted to their tables while the love jazz music played in the background, to a lovely poem which spoke to each individual and couple, to a romantic meal, flowers given, cards read, and more fond memories made.

In their words: "We felt so special today." "We thank you all for showering us with love on today." "I believe this was the best event we have had."

Each of these touched our hearts and we are truly ready to continue serving them as they continue making lasting memories.

BRR success story!

"Mrs. Betty Wiseman has made tremendous progress and deserves some recognition for her hard work and determination. When she admitted to The Village at Germantown, she was unable to stand or transfer without dependent assistance and required significant assistance with daily tasks. With her hard work and the help of the therapy team, she is preparing to go home walking over 300ft with a walker and completing her ADLs with as little as setup assistance.

When asked about her experience in therapy, Mrs. Wiseman stated, "The staff is very caring, very supportive, and very helpful on good and bad days. I would encourage anyone to come here for rehab. It's just a wonderful group of people."

Great job on your accomplishments Mrs. Betty. On behalf of the therapy team, we are grateful to be a part of you healing journey."

Our Philosophy

We at Broad River believe that there is little skill required in identifying needs in skilled nursing. Simply walk down the hall of any facility and you will observe many clinical needs. The skill in skilled therapy, however, comes from having the passion (for the population we serve) and knowledge (both clinical and regulatory) to know how to address these needs. That is why Broad River Rehab promotes a culture that values passion and knowledge; formally investing internally and externally in ensuring its therapists have the passion, knowledge, tools, and experience to meet the clinical needs of the residents and clients that we serve.
