Today's lesson was on . It doesn't have to be fancy, a simple drawing works perfectly. Kids are never too young to practice psychological flexibility!

Defusion is a psychological technique used to create distance from unhelpful thoughts and worries. Imagine your thoughts and worries as a balloon floating above you. Visualize pulling the balloon down by its string until it's within your reach. Hold the balloon gently in your hands and take a moment to acknowledge your thoughts without judgment. Recognize them for what they are—just thoughts. Then, let go of the balloon, watching it drift away, taking your worries with it. This practice helps you detach from negative thoughts, giving you the space to focus on the present moment.
