Makes so much sense… Thanks Dr Tanda Cook!!
If normal is making us sick I’m gonna strive to be ABNORMAL.
It’s “normal” to eat ultra processed foods
It’s “normal” to fill our days with busy
It’s “normal” to sleep 5-6 hours a night
It’s “normal” to say yes to things we don’t want to do
It’s “normal” to scroll mindlessly on social media
It’s “normal” to eat on the go
It’s “normal” to be irritable and frustrated most of the time
It’s “normal” to have anxiety or depression
It’s “normal” to go 3 days without 💩
It’s “normal” to have joint pain and fatigue at 38 years old
It’s “normal” to be in a job that “pays the bills” but you’re miserable
It’s “normal” to feel overwhelmed
It’s “normal” to crave sugar
It’s “normal” ……
All that 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻 is not normal. All that is making us sick. But we normalize it because of social construct, family construct, stress, dissociation, unhappiness, and being out of alignment.
How do we go from “normal” to ABNORMAL?
Acknowledging that normal isn’t working for you.
Then eat food that you love and loves you back.
Sleep in the dark 7-9 hours
Move your beautiful body daily
Breathe
Stay hydrated
Eat fiber for 💩 help and take magnesium 600mgs daily
Meditation
Yoga
Play and purpose
Surround yourself with community
Laugh a whole lot more
Delegate s**t that you dont need to be doing
Say no to things that don’t feel good in your body
Say YES to things that excite you
Getting to a state of “Normal” has taken you years and is complicated and complex
Switching to ABNORMAL can be as simple as getting more quality sleep
