This is the ULTIMATE and FINAL decision of your life. Seriously! What will you choose? Grave or urn?

“You’re Good to Go”, is you’re “personal journal” in planning for the inevitable, and end of life. You can read about Cremation memoirs, Funnies, Jokes, True Stories and Life lessons shared by a pre-need advisor ”guru”.

No one really wants to talk about this subject matter but it is one of the most important tasks to prepare for.

Pre-planning for your future burial arrangements is truly a "loving and caring gift" that you can give to your loved ones since they will be left trying to figure things out at a time when they are scared and emotionally crippled by your condition and your final passing.

You are also helping to relieve them of the financial burden at a very fragile and trying time. Pre-planning helps you to have peace of mind that your wishes are carried out the way you want them and leaves peace and harmony amongst your family members and loved ones.

I’ve been in a very “Hot business” for a decade now…

Can you guess what kind of business I am in? Hmmmm, no nothing related to a fire fighter, putting out a hot fire!!! 🔥
Let’s put it this way, no one is “dying to see me “! We’ve all heard the song, “ Burn, baby burn, Disco, Inferno “ (Rick Herritt).
It’s a Cremation Biz! Hot, hot hot!

My name has been saved in my client’s cell phones as the “Cremation lady “ and the “Grim Reaper “!

No one really wants to talk about such an important subject matter, such as pre-planning for their future demise. But the reality is we almost deal with it sooner than later. We must prepare ourselves and our loved ones, for when we are suddenly alone.

Let’s face it, we can’t run away from “death “, it will catch up to us eventually. It’s inevitable.

My hope is that this journal can be a source of learning from all my experiences for my readers. It is my heart’s desire to share all my personal true stories and light hearted jokes and unique experiences.

Maybe there was a funny story that resonates with your past that you can relate to. We have a culture always take the “death subject” so seriously. Here is some of the sunny side of things. You can actually find comedy in death!

I have been spending my time helping families to find peace in their hearts, and have been on a gazillion appointments in my career helping to educate families on how to pre-arrange for their future cremation arrangements so that their loved ones don’t have the burden at a very sensitive and trying time. I have cried along with my clients and laughed along with my clients and have lent an ear to hear and support many heartfelt sad stories along the way.

When I received your inquiry, and I make the first called to my clients, many times, I hear them say “I’m not dead yet”! We have to be lighthearted about the subject matter because we all have to face having this conversation, one way or another.

I’ve learned over the years that you have to be empathetic and adapt to each, and every individual personality you meet to help people in this line of work. Some people are fun and light hearted, some are superstitious, uptight, and almost scared, and have to have a glass of wine to relax while discussing the inevitable topic. The majority of families I have helped want to get this important matter taken care of in order to remove the burden from their loved ones, and to have peace of mind. Pre-planning for one’s arrangements is the most “loving and caring “gift that you can give to your loved ones.

It’s a key that we all have to turn eventually!
