We’d like to take a moment to thank our sponsor SLB Canada, without whom none of this would be possible. Your investment in our vision plays a pivotal role in the success of three Bears’ Lair Dream Camps in Treaty 6, 7 & 8. Your generous collaborative partnership makes a positive impact in the lives of Indigenous youth and community. 👏🏽🫶🏽

Bears’ Lair Dream Camps prove to Indigenous youth they are the CEO of their own success. Sparked by the success of the Bears’ Lair TV show, Bears’ Lair Dream Camps was created by Geena Jackson and Dean Montgomery to uplift communities, empower and inspire Indigenous youth across Canada. It is a non-profit, offering 3-day entrepreneurial training programs for Indigenous youth aged 11-18.

FNHC believes that this initiative will significantly advance the social determinants of health for First Nations youth across Alberta. By empowering youth with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and community connections, we aim to create sustainable pathways for economic independence and social well-being.

Stay tune for more coverage as the Bears' Lair Dream Camp will be at Kehewin Cree Nation School - powered by SLB and First Nations Health Consortium.

About Us

Our Children… Our Passion

The First Nations Health Consortium supports families in accessing education, health or social programs to meet their child’s needs. Our team works to reduce the stress on families by supporting them in navigating provincial and federal service systems.

If there is gap in services or lack of programs available to meet the child’s needs, we work with the family to submit a completed application for Jordan’s Principle funding.

We strive to raise public and community awareness of our Enhanced Service Coordination for Jordan’s Principle: A Child-First Initiative.
