Step outside the box! 📦
If you find yourself getting bored with your meals, here are a few tips to add variety.
➡️Try new foods, or retry foods that you haven't had in a while. Sometimes, our taste changes and we acquire a taste for foods we previously didn't like or thought we didn't like.
➡️Try different food combinations. Sometimes we get stuck feeling like we have to always eat the same food combinations because that's what we've always done or we feel as though certain foods don't "go together".
➡️ Incorporate meatless meals. If you're anything like me, a meal with no meat seems incomplete. Challenge yourself to go without meat from time to time and try adding more plant based proteins such as quinoa or edamame.
I was tempted to put and buy something to eat, but I challenged myself to make something to with ingredients I already had at home.
I have never been a fan of sweet potatoes. I needed protein because I had just finished my workout, and I always laughed when I saw people eating quinoa and sweet potatoes together.
I stepped outside the box and tried something new. Not only was it packed with nutrients, but it was delicious! 😋
