GENES POSITIVELY AFFECTED BY CRUCIFEROUS VEGETABLES 🧬

Genes helped by Cruciferous Vegetables include:

ESR > helps ESR regulate hormones better and avoid offsetting hormone cancers such as breast cancer and endometrial cancer. If this gene is working well, it can also help prevent osteoporosis and methylation issues.

TTR > mutations with this gene can cause a wide amount of diseases associated with the eyes, heart and peripheral nerves

CYP1B1 > mutations associated with hormones and multiple hormone cancers including breast and endometrial cancer

UGT2B15 > mutations associated with poor metabolism and excretion of estrogens and androgens from the body

I hope this inspires you to eat more cruciferous veggies!

Have a great day! 🧬😄🩷

FEEDING YOUR BABY AND SUPPORTING THEIR GENETICS! 🧬

Hi! Here is an example of what my baby eats for breakfast!

This morning he had a chicken patty, scrambled eggs, mango, pineapple and honeydew melon.

RULES I FOLLOW:

1. 80/20 (trying to emphasize foods best for his genetics while also allowing him to have some of any other type of food including cake)

2. Not getting too paranoid. If baby eats only one food that is beneficial for his genetics… that is still a win!

3. Making the experience easy and fun! Trying new foods when we can and always trying to not go overboard on cooking so I won’t burn out and give up.

IF INTERESTED:

1. See a doctor who specializes in treating patients based on their genetics!

2. A book source: Eat For Your Type by Dr. Peter D’Adamo

3. Get your specific genetics analyzed via Opus! It is a software that analyzes all of your genes so you can know exactly what to eat, take and do to treat any disease and symptom.

I hope this was helpful! Have a wonderful day! 🧬♥️

Talking about how one’s genes play a big role in determining how predisposed they are to heart attack and how well they will respond to blood thinners!

We can offset unwanted genetic mutations that predispose us to unwanted conditions and symptoms through specific diet and lifestyle changes! Talk about individualized medicine!

I also think genetic targeting is finally becoming more popular among doctors which is amazing! Why throw a dart at a target blindly when you can take it right to the bullseye?

I hope you find this video helpful!

🦠🧬TARGETING GENES AND BACTERIA LINKED TO COLORECTAL CANCER 🧬🦠

There are a number of different genes and bacteria that are linked to colorectal cancer!

One possible genetic factor is gene NFKB1 (rs28362491). We want to inhibit this genes with N-acetylcysteine (NAC).

One possible microbiome factor contributing is the species BLAUTIA (too much of this species in people with colorectal cancer has been found). We want to inhibit this bacteria with walnuts, flaxseeds, Quercetin and resveratrol!

It is also important to add:
- Healing a leaky gut if one has it
- Exercise, movement, yoga
- A genetic based diet
- Meditation

You can improve and heal with the right combo of conventional and natural treatments!

I hope this was helpful! 👩🏻‍⚕️🧬🦠

GENERATIONAL TRAUMA EFFECTS OUR GENES AND OUR HEALTH!

This has been proven by research!

Trauma can leave a chemical mark on a person’s genes which can then be passed down to future generations. This alters the mechanism by which the gene is expressed (epigenetic changes).

These epigenetic changes can affect genes associated with:
- cardiovascular issues/ Heart disease
- obesity
- diabetes
- high cortisol/ stress
- mental health illnesses such as schizophrenia and PTSD
- and more!

Find out what genetic mutations you have and what the best foods, lifestyle choices, herbs, pharmaceuticals and supplements are best for you based on your genetics!

WHY SOME PEOPLE CAN LOSE WEIGHT WITH HIGH INTENSITY EXERCISES WHILE OTHERS HAVE MORE TROUBLE!

The answer could actually be in your genetics!

There are two genes, ADRB2 and ADRB3 which can tell us if high intensity exercises will help you increase your weight loss journey.

In general, blood type As do best with low intensity exercises such as yoga and tai chi (especially because of their tendency to have long lasting cortisol spikes). Blood type Bs do best with moderate intensity exercises such as tennis and bicycling. Blood type Os do best with high intensity workouts and weight lifting (which also help with their tendency to have too many neurotransmitters firing). Blood type ABs do best with a mix of moderate cardio and yoga.

Find out what the best foods, exercises and lifestyle methods are for YOU to lose weight by taking a look at your genetics!

Hope that was a little helpful! Have a great day!

DBH > involved in the conversation of dopamine to norepinephrine. Mutations can cause us to go into fight or flight mode which numerous issues including mood disorders, gastrointestinal issues, high blood pressure and more.

Ways to reduce stress:
