With the 2022-2023 school year upon us, this 2020 NYT's article remains relevant. The world is different than it was a few years ago- some schools are struggling to remain adequately staffed, and anxiety and delays in children have reached a peak.
So many parents and caregivers play the "wait and see" game, but this is a risky game to play. If you suspect that your child is experiencing some challenges at school, whether they be linked to motor, social, or emotional development, please don't "wait and see".
