This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for our incredible team — for those who give so much to save lives and further the gift of life.

Our work is a lot like a Thanksgiving meal: everyone brings something essential to the table. Each role adds a unique ingredient — a skill, a dedication, a flavor — and together, those contributions make it possible to save lives and support families.

From donor specialists handling screenings, authorizations, organ offers, and recoveries (ocular, tissue, surgical, and birth tissue), to organ procurement coordinators, transplant center coordinators, and our family services and aftercare teams — we at Dedicated Donor Call are deeply thankful for your commitment, compassion, and expertise.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Honoring Birth Tissue Donation
The day your child is born is nothing short of a miracle—an amazing day celebrated once a year. But for mothers who choose to give the gift of Birth Tissue Donation, that day becomes something even more powerful. It becomes a gift that brings healing, hope, and new beginnings—a gift that’s celebrated every single day.
Birth tissue has the incredible ability to help others heal in ways that truly change lives. I know this because I’m one of those lives. Just over a year ago, I needed a skin graft. My doctor explained how donated birth tissue could bring the assistance of live cells to support and regenerate my own healing process. Thanks to a mother’s decision to donate, and the miracle of her child’s birth, I was able to receive the graft—and I was able to heal.
I carry deep gratitude for that mother and child who unknowingly touched my life forever on the day they entered the world.
Today, I’m proud to lead a team that supports organ, eye, and tissue donation in all its forms. But this Mother’s Day, we shine a light especially on Birth Tissue Donation and the life-changing power it holds.
