At 70+ years young, our client proves that age is just a number! 🏃‍♂️💪

With unwavering determination, consistent training, and a lifelong love for running, he conquered a half marathon this past weekend in Peachtree city. He even medaled! We are super proud of him and we were there cheering him along the last leg of the race!

This goes to show that staying active and passionate can break any barrier. Keep chasing those dreams! 🥳

Lately Megan and I have been talking about having to take the time to prioritize our health. 🙌🏻

Most people we find are all talk, no action but complain about their circumstances.

Or they even point fingers back at us, 🤨 saying “Well what do you do? Do you follow your own advice?”

To answer these questions, Yes WE DO follow our own advice.

If we preach it, we believe in it.
….
⭐️ We limit activity when needed.

⭐️ We sit in the sun to get our vitamin D.

⭐️ We sleep to recover.

⭐️ We fuel our bodies with proper nutrition.
….
And when it comes to actin it’s such as volleyball, biking or hiking, we make sure to compete mobility work, foam rolling, and release any tension in our muscle and joints. We believe our bodies need a warm up, just like starting a cold car. We need to take care of ourselves for our future selves.

✅ Walking instead of your planned workout, still valuable 😉

✅ Modifying your workout, still counts as training 😀

✅ Taking a rest day because you were feeling fatigued 🥹 still part of taking care of yourself.

It’s all VALUABLE. It’s all part of the process of learning to work WITH and not against your body.

Do what you can, with what you have in the moment.
