Jesus gave fish to anyone that was hungry. Those who were full and satisfied never went out to hunt or fish. They had money, maids and servants. Therefore, they had no need to find food and resources and as such stayed tucked away in their comfort zone and safety nets. Those same people never had the opportunity to learn of Jesus’ powerful lessons about love because they had no need to leave their homes. King Herod was a powerful King and stayed in his court and castle and ordered the massacre of Jesus who was a jew. Hi**er did the same thing and we still see that very same scenario show up over and over in todays world with those who have power through privilege and inheritance not helping those who are less fortunate. We live in a world of have's and have not's. Do you stay in your Kingdom or go out in the world to help others? Translation: Are you willing to look at how you're living your life and ask the difficult on how you show up to create a Powerful IMPACT to OUR World? I remember growing up and singing the song, "I've got a new attitude" by Patti Labelle and I kind of feel like it applies today. I have decided that I am going to stop playing with mean girls and choose my friends more wisely. The Lion's Den Educational Resource Center is sponsoring a Plaid For Women circle in Bedford and support the no mean girls campaign. If you are a "nice" girl and want to get together once a month for a "circle collaboration," make friends with other entrepreneurs, and take your professionalism to the next level, consider joining me at the Grand Opening of the Bedford Circle in April.
