Quality over quantity!

Ensure your workouts are quality and not a ton of unnecessary volume! Performing 2 sets with all of your effort is far more beneficial then adding on a large amount of sets and reps with a lazy amount of effort put into them!

Focus on getting to the gym having a quality, intense workout and leave to allow your body to recover and repair stronger! Some of the best workouts can be the shortest ones!

Weightlifting Splits: Programs that divide training sessions by body regions (ie. legs, back, chest etc.)

There are many different workout splits that one can follow (push-pull-legs, full-body, upper/lower). There is no "best split" you can make progress no matter what split you adhere to, just ensure you're choosing the right split for you!

For example, someone who is less experienced working out with weights will likely benefit more than someone who has been weight training for years. Vice versa, someone who has just started weight training does not need as much focus on individual muscle groups and would not benefit as much by splitting their workouts into specific body parts.

Make sure that you're training properly in the gym!

By properly I mean:
- Ensure that you have a set plan you are following, don't wing it!
- Use good form and don't lift with your ego
- Train in the way that's best suited for you! (Don't only train upper body, if your legs are a weakness)
- Have proper gym etiquette lol

Ensuring you're training properly will make the world of difference in terms of your progress! If you aren't currently checking the boxes above, start!

In order to "look jacked", "get shredded", or "have muscle tone". You first have to develop a decent level of muscle mass and the only way to do this is by weight training hard and consistently, while also eating in a caloric surplus. The body can burn through calories very quickly when trying to build muscle and most people don't eat enough on a regular basis. Ensure you're eating large amounts of nutrient dense food if you want to positively change your physique!
