It's with a heavy heart that I have to share the passing of my husband Rikk.

Richard C. Foringer, affectionately known as Rikk, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024, at the age of 54, surrounded by his loving family. Update on Rikk- there were some complications yesterday so no surgery today. He’s got an excellent team of care providers and he’s in great hands. Not sure when they will reschedule.

Good morning- They had to postpone surgery today because his potassium level was too high. Dialysis again today- surgery rescheduled for tomorrow.

Update on Rikk- he’s having triple bypass surgery Monday morning. He’s up and about, in good spirits and taking all the pokes and prodding like a trooper.

Well a minor setback, Rikk will need surgery. He is now at Strong Memorial. We are just waiting to find out when they will do it. Hoping sooner than later but nothing ever goes fast at a hospital.

Happy New Year! Rikk is doing ok but he had a heart attack New Years Eve. He’s in good spirits and they are taking good care of him at Thompson. He is getting an angiogram tomorrow and they will decide what course of action to take. We are supposed to head to NYC Tuesday overnight for more tests to transfer to their transplant list, but it depends on how things go the next couple days. Hug your people tonight and send Rikk some warm thoughts and positive vibes! We will let you know how this progresses. ❤️
