'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the sky
Not a creature was stirring, no reason why.
The reindeer were nestled, awaiting their flight
With a sober St. Nick saying "Let's Not Wreck the Holiday tonight!"

No whiskey, no wine, no beer for this ride.
No nog that's been spiked, for safety's his guide!
So he buckled up tight and checked twice 'round his sleigh -
No DWI for Santa on his holiday!

As Rudolph shone bright lighting North Pole's way,
Santa smiled and cheered -
"Let's have a safe, sober Christmas Day!"
The team rose up proudly and took to the air -
With the promise of gifts, wonder, and care.

So remember, don't drink when you drive anywhere!
Make "Let's Not Wreck the Holiday" your yearly affair.
Be like Santa who's making his global rounds,
Without any liquor - the safest around!

I'm so excited that MOST people choose to only drive 100% sober. That's going to help people so they can make it home for the holidays. Sober driving, yeah, that's an awesome gift to yourself, your family, your friends, and our entire community. Keep it up.

We are all in this together, aren't we? We share the roads with one another and we all feel the collective shock caused by impaired driving within our community. How can you help spread the word during Impaired Driving Awareness month?

Friends, neighbors, colleagues,this is a call to action for our entire Missoula community.

But before we talk about solutions, let us pause to remember the families who have lost loved ones to impaired driving. The empty chairs at dinner tables. The missed birthday parties. The holidays spent grieving instead of celebrating. The hole in their hearts that will never be filled.

These families know the true cost of impaired driving. They live with the consequences every single day. Their pain serves as a constant reminder that we must do better.

Our first responders put their lives on the line when answering late-night calls about impaired drivers. The doctors and nurses in our hospitals work tirelessly to save the lives of crash victims. Our local businesses suffer when customers and employees are injured or worse. And we all share the roads, putting our own lives at risk.

Impaired driving really shakes up our entire community, just like a snow globe. I believe Enough is enough. How can we work together to rid our community of the dangers caused by impaired driving?

This campaign is different. It's about empowering all of us to take ownership of this problem, so we can work together to prevent impaired driving. We need your voice, your passion, your ideas.

Imagine if we all spread the word, from the firefighters and police officers to the baristas and small business owners. If we stood together and shouted across Missoula: "Hey friends...Let's Not Wreck The Holidays. Let's Drive Sober!

Imagine if with helped one another out by making sure we have a plan for a sober ride before we go out. Imagine helping an impaired friend with a sober ride home. Imagine helping an impaired customer order an Uber or Lyft. Imagine setting up sober rides home for employees after your company's holiday party.

Our future depends on it. Our lives depend on it. Missoula depends on it. Let's do this together!
