Congratulations to the Class of 2025! This inspiring group of leaders has successfully completed their mission to become empowered and grow through dynamic, immersive learning experiences. These experiences have deepened their understanding of our community and prepared them to tackle today's challenges while shaping the future.

This is a fun one! We often discuss the link between hearing loss and dementia, emphasizing that managing hearing loss is one of the most effective steps to reduce dementia risk. A recent study found that individuals over 70 who consistently listened to music had a 39% lower risk of developing dementia compared to those who listened to music occasionally, rarely, or not at all. Additionally, researchers observed a 17% reduction in cognitive decline, which includes memory, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, as well as improved scores in recalling everyday events. What an incredible night! Last night, we hosted a sold-out event with Dr. Stuart Fife from FIFE Therapy and Performance. It was standing room only as Stuart shared valuable insights on how to maintain strength and balance, while also reducing the risk of falls. He connected the body's balance to important factors like the hearing and visual systems. The event was a huge success!

At Expert Hearing, we are excited to incorporate more educational opportunities and are looking forward to a very informative 2026. Our goal is to continue educating the community about the wide-ranging health impacts of hearing loss and how we can work together to address them.

🎉 Only ONE DAY Left until our next learning experience! 🎉

Tomorrow, November 5th, we will host Stuart Fife, owner and head therapist at FIFE Therapy and Performance. His presentation, titled "Hearing and Balance: Two Sides of the Same Coin," will delve into the important connections between hearing health and balance, particularly as we age.

We look forward to seeing everyong tomorrow evening at the Palmetto Club in the Landings, starting at 5 PM. We'll have cocktails and appetizers to enjoy while we learn more about what may be affecting our balance.
