Important Notice!

Our Oaklawn Medical Group – Tekonsha office experienced unexpected flooding over the weekend due to a burst water pipe. Unfortunately, this has caused damage throughout the office, and all appointments scheduled for today have been canceled.

Our team is actively assessing the situation and reassigning providers to offices in the Wright Medical Building in Marshall, where patients will be seen until further notice. We will do our best to accommodate patients during this transition.

Patients may still call the Tekonsha office at 517-767-4038 with questions, as the phone line is being rerouted, though response times may be slower than usual.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and will share additional updates as they become available.

Preparing for your baby’s arrival? Our Prenatal/Childbirth Classes are designed to help you feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.

Classes are offered Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, or as a convenient all day Saturday session.

Weeknight classes are split into two sessions covering pregnancy, labor and delivery, pain management options, C section information, planning your hospital stay, postpartum care, newborn care, feeding your baby, and a unit tour. The Saturday session covers all topics in one day.

▪ Cost: $40 per couple

This year, Oaklawn will resume reaching out to patients who may qualify for CareHarmony, as it is already an active service.

Here are some things to know about CareHarmony before you receive the enrollment call. 👇

If you’re a Medicare patient living with two or more chronic conditions, you may be eligible for CareHarmony—a program designed to give you extra support between doctor visits.

After enrolling, a care coordinator will reach out by phone to introduce themselves, learn about your health goals, and begin creating your customized care plan. Through CareHarmony, your care coordinator will help you monitor daily wellness, schedule and coordinate appointments with specialists, assist with medication refills and check for drug interactions, etc.

🩺 Costs and Coverage:
👉 If you're eligible, CareHarmony is covered by Medicare, though costs may vary depending on your insurance.
👉 If you have secondary insurance, you may have no out-of-pocket costs.
👉 Without secondary insurance, you may pay a monthly copay (typically 20%), subject to your deductible and coinsurance.
👉 It’s always best to review your specific plan.
👉 You can opt out anytime—no contracts, no commitments.
