Is it a cold or just pollen? 🤧 With spring blooming in Conyers, it can be hard to tell!
• If your little one has itchy, watery eyes and a clear runny nose that lasts for weeks, it might be seasonal allergies. Unlike a cold, allergies don't usually cause a fever.
• There are different medical strategies to use in children if allergies are affecting your child. Please let us know if we can be if assistance.

Kids have so much energy, don't they? 🏃💨 Since February is American Heart Month, let’s lean into those "zoomies!"
Healthy hearts start with simple, active play. Whether it’s a quick trip to the park or a living room dance party, moving together keeps their little hearts strong. ❤️

30 minutes to 1 hour of active play every day is a great goal for most children!

Is it just a cold, or is it something more? 🤒 With RSV and flu season in full swing here in Conyers, we know how stressful those middle-of-the-night coughs can be for new moms.
Most viruses can be managed with lots of rest and fluids, but keep an eye out for "red flags" like:
• Fast or labored breathing (watching the chest pull in).
• A fever that lasts more than a few days.
• Signs of dehydration, like fewer wet diapers.
You don’t have to guess! If your gut says something is wrong, please call us . We are here to help. ❤️

The Best Superpower? Clean Hands! 🧼

Cold and flu season is in full swing. The single most effective way to protect your family from germs is proper handwashing! Teach your little ones to wet their hands, use soap, and scrub for 20 seconds—that's the time it takes to sing the "ABC Song" twice! Make sure they wash after playing, before eating, and after using the bathroom.

Please see this exciting event happening in Rockdale County Thursday, December 11th, 2025, with the support of Springfield Baptist Church, American Foundation for Su***de Prevention and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.

“More Than Sad: Parent Education is an approximately 90-minute program that teaches parents how to recognize signs of depression and other mental health problems; initiate a conversation about mental health with their child; and get help. This program focuses on parents and guardians of teen youth”.
