Four doctors. One shared mission: helping women fight cancer without missing a beat. 💗

At Health First, a dedicated multidisciplinary team is redefining breast cancer care in Brevard County. Together, Dr. Mustafa Amani (breast surgical oncologist), Dr. Brendan Prendergast (radiation oncologist), Dr. Amit Barochia (medical oncologist), and Dr. Kevin Campbell — Brevard’s only certified cardio-oncologist — work side by side to help women fight cancer while protecting their heart health.

Read the full story to meet the doctors and learn how cardio-oncology is changing the future of breast cancer treatment.

Health First’s collaborative team delivers advanced treatment—including a new cardio-oncology subspecialty— to protect both lives and hearts.

This past Saturday, Health First proudly sponsored Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Brevard at The Avenue Viera — bringing together survivors, thrivers, families, and friends. Over 5,000 attendees joined in, raising $165,000 (and counting!) to support the fight against breast cancer. 💗

Westanna “Stanna” Bobbitt, was among 300 survivors celebrated at the walk. Diagnosed with Stage One breast cancer in 2020, Stanna beat the odds and continues to inspire with her positivity, advocacy, and reminder to stay vigilant with early detection.
We’re honored to stand with survivors like Stanna, our patients, and the community in supporting awareness, research, and hope.

Read the full story and see Stanna’s journey at the link below.

The Health First Cancer Institute was the main sponsor for the Brevard-based American Cancer Society (ACS) Making Strides event.
