I’m sad to report that Maria passed away. If you’re reading this post and have the compassion to donate a kidney please call the Stonybrook Hospital transplant team and save a life. In fact you’ll be saving an entire family who love their sweetheart who is in need.

My dear sweet Maria has passed this life. I’m leaving this page up in hopes that someone out there will step forward and contact Stony Brook University Hospital transplant team , Long Island, New York, and offer to give the Kidney. We have lost this angel, but maybe there’s another one we can save.

As we head into the holiday weekend we look to our grandchildren and children to what I can only describe as the warm embrace of family. We also turn to our friends and all of you who have stepped up and given us hope that Maria may soon receive a kidney, which will save her life. So I will take a brief moment to wish you all a happy, healthy New Year. Once again I will ask all of you to share out this message to all your contacts. I make this request because I know our angel is out there, and 2024 will bring them to us!

I hesitate to create a downer post just before Thanksgiving . So I thought I’d do it the week before. As you can imagine, nothing is more important than family gatherings to someone is in need of a kidney and has failing health. so Maria and I are looking forward to gathering with family. However, if anyone of the grandchildren or their parents has a cold or flu all bets are off. as you can imagine we have missed many get-togethers and miss seeing our family so very much. So I will ask everyone seeing this post to please forward it to those on your friends list, and maybe even pin it on your page for a while that we may find our angel who can donate a kidney for Maria Crocetti .

Good evening everyone, I have just finished setting up this evening’s dialysis equipment for Maria’s daily 7 hour session. I must state that we are so blessed by the warm outpouring of support from all of you. To go through our challenges alone would be far more arduous without you all. To face these challenges knowing you are there gives us all the more resolve to hang on! And so, we hope that an angel will soon bring us to the next chapter in our lives which will include visiting with our grandchildren, being able to dine in a restaurant for the first time in four years, to sit with friends to share a funny story and once again begin living a full life. Thank you for indulging my hopes and prayers, Warmly, Enrico

Folks, there is a reason that the first word you see on this page is "Urgent." Without a donor kidney soon, Maria faces multi system failure.
